Great Game - Tough Opponent

I, for one, think that UNC played a great game last night. And, I think that we vastly underestimated the opponent. I think that this could have easily been a season opening "trap game". UNC W won 27 games last year. They have the reigning CAA Coach of the Year and some seasoned, productive transfers who are skilled, are physical, have length and play defense. We had multiple bench players get solid minutes (Seth Trimble looks the part fo sho) and Mr. Dunn appears to be real as well. Also, interesting that Coach had no problems with T Nickle getting key minutes... the kid must be showing signs.

Glad that we had this test early with a physical opponent. And, glad we have a bench this year. Both bode well for our future prospects.

With the possibility that Puff Johnson cannot go Monday, who is the first sub off the bench?

This is a tough call 📞 but I feel these three are probably the most logical choices: styles seems to be the first choice because he can either come in for either Nance or Black. I personally would like him to come in for Nance who after a short break could come back in give Bacot a breather.

My second choice would be Trimble who could come in for either Love or Davis and play the point while one of the starters from the backcourt move to the shooting guard spot.

Thirdly but a real possibility would be Nickel coming in for Black or Nance. Normally freshmen in the Carolina system
unless there is no other possibility do not get a lot of minutes but Nickel has size, not scared to shoot and has moxie and a surprisingly confidence for a freshman…

Washington and Dunn are also possibilities but they may follow the others mentioned above in line because of Washington still not being 100 percent and Dunn not playing many minutes expierence wise but be did start in the exhibition game…

Again it is just a guessing game because with a few more days of rest Puff may get the green light from the medical staff but if not this is a subject that I would be interested to see who others might think would be the first off the bench?
