Giving up four games in? I still think we have a chance to go to the CWS. All we have to do is win every series we play, not every game.
Usually this time of year hitters are ahead of pitchers, that's what worries me.
Hitting hasn't been a problem. We've left some people on base, but we've scored at least 3 runs in every game. No need to worry about anything this early.
BTW, what's up with this traveling road show series with ECU? Starts in Greenville, then goes to Durham and the last game is in Chapel Hill.

We get runners on first and 2nd with 1 out and we swing at the 1st pitch both at bats for a weak pop up and weak ground ball. 3 and 4 hitters on top of that. Damnit
I've never subscribed to the theory of not swinging at the first pitch. If that thing was coming down the middle of the plate I was swinging.
3 and 4 hole hitters have got to be more patient with runners on. Neither pitch was very hittable. At this level you can't be scared to hit with strikes on you.
