2017 Atlanta Braves Thread (w/ occasional Red Sox talk for Hark)

What is occurring right now is why I hate the Nationals. They are an embarrassment to MLB and all professional sports franchises across the globe. Pathetic.

Thousands of fans leaving because of a 2-plus hour "rain" delay without a single drop of rain. All of those fans cheated out of their hard-earned money spent to watch some baseball because the Nationals didn't want to have to go to their shitty bullpen too early if they ended up having an actual rain delay. Disgusting. They should move back to Montreal.

What happened last night other than a rain delay based on expectation of imminent storm?

Nothing. It's just the fact they only did it because they didn't want to have to go to their bullpen early if a rain delay interrupted the game in progress. So they decided to delay the game because of an "impending weather occurence" or something like that, despite the fact they knew if it was going to rain, it was at least two hours away. It's completely within the rules but a bush league move nonetheless.

Yeah. I gathered this.

The Nationals are like Duke.

I gotta be honest and say I'm not a fan of the Tomahawk Chop (I think it's annoying), but that N-A-T-S ripoff of the Jets chant takes the cake. Most annoying thing I've heard in a while.

Johan Camargo could be the reason behind a potential trade that includes Albies in a deal for an ace. I'm starting to believe in this dude.

Looks like that's about it for any Braves fans out there that still care (thanks, @TarHeelNation11). The Cubs have brought us back down to reality. Now 11.5 games behind of the Nationals (that "race" is over) and 8 out of the wild card. Still doable, but incredibly unlikely. Now, we've benched Swanson, which is only hurting him and our future. If you don't want him playing here, send him down. Oh well.
