You are good. He got that offer 3 weeks ago and I was told that day it wasn't going to take long for him to commit.didn't see @Jared_5 post he beat me to it
Interesting. That contradicts pretty much every analysis on him at this point by folks that have evaluated him.
No doubt he has a ways to get to Stackhouse level on offense, but Styles is athletic and tough enough to be 3 years and in the draft.Yeah, I get that. But..., as I said, the source is legit. I also said and I repeat, he will have to make a believer out me with his play.
I know it is for the other board, but WHOA, Mack Brown is killin' it !!!!!!!
What's going on with Kerwin Walton?Like I said awhile ago. I heard he would be a quick commit! He's UNC bound.
He will commit the 25thWhat's going on with Kerwin Walton?
Miller is really talking down about williams in the end I still Jared he is a heel the guy I know only said the staff feels confident about the recruitmentWhat's going on with Kerwin Walton?
Sean the cheat Miller shouldn't be talking down about anyone. He's had as much talent as anyone the last decade or so and won absolutely nothing.Miller is really talking down about williams in the end I still Jared he is a heel the guy I know only said the staff feels confident about the recruitment
Hopefully to the good guys. Clint seems to think so.He will commit the 25th
Yep, the misses. Kevin Garnet, Shaq, Kobe and Kevin Durant.
Only thing, close does not count...
Another 2021 kid from NC who may end up as the #2 player in NC is D’Marco Dunn from Fayetteville plays SG. ACC level good
You forgot that ALL-IN on Kevin Love sir.
That miss, set us back years (Big man wise)
Not sure I follow your thinking here. Love played 1 year in college. UNC went 101-14 from 2006-2009 with a Natty. You're saying no big men wanted to come to Chapel Hill because Love went to UCLA?
He will commit the 25th
It's what I was told and yes I am sticking with it.Jared, you still sticking to Walton already committed to Coach Roy? Reason I ask recent twitter post states he has not made a decision yet.
It's what I was told and yes I am sticking with it.
I had no idea the G-League was allowed to offer those amounts. Sounds like a big change from the D-League. I seem to recall that modest 5-figure wages were the norm, and had the impression they were capped. But I could be wrong about that.Rumors that the G-league was courting these guys with some big time offers. Somewhere in the ballpark of $500K plus shoe deals.
Alrdy have 5 bigs on the roster for 13 schollys. You want 6 of the 13 scholarship players to be bigs????Jerimiah’s departure opens up another scholly.
Some have said they’d like Roy to look for a PG....
I personally would prefer he find a project big, Garrison is gone and likely one or two others from next season’s front court. He could target either a transfer with 2-3 yrs of eligibility, or a kid ranked top 100 if there are any still around.
Grad transfer is a short term fix which won’t help depth beyond the coming season.
Yup.Alrdy have 5 bigs on the roster for 13 schollys. You want 6 of the 13 scholarship players to be bigs????
That's going to hurt. I think we have underestimated the loss that seventh's transfer caused last season. Hopefully you're right and we get Walton but once again we have no experienced backup at the point. A lot of talent but nobody who's been there and done that at the most difficult position in our system to learn.
Maybe we'll see a big step forward by the Baby Jet. I'm rooting for him!
