Tre Shaw has entered the transfer portal. He was a 4* recruit coming out of high school. Did he just not pan out? With all the depletion in our backfield, I wonder why he hasn’t played this year.

Losing a four star as a transfer but landed a couple of four stars the past year as well which I really like. Best of luck to him.
The Shaw scholly has been available for several months, but yeah the Murray hardship frees up a scholarship.
This class needs to be heavy with oline and dline especially DTs since we don’t have any with the current class.
Bingley Jones, Murphy, Pinder, Taylor are all Freshman/Sophomore bodies that will rotate on the D line next year. Will be tough to get any more guys on either of the lines for 2021 due to covid. They're gonna load up the OL in 2022 with multiple 4/5 star kids.
You think UNC is loading up an OL with 4/5 Star kids?

Sure do. Zach Rice from VA. Kid's mom absolutely loves the UNC staff, and the Bly factor in VA can never be underestimated. UNC will get a 4* CB and WR from VA as well. Think we’ll get another OL out of GA. They signed a 4* in 2021 class in Sutton, 4* in 2020 in Baker and a 4* in 2019 in Miller. What else you wanna know?
Would names, addresses, and telephone numbers suffice? Notre Dame fans can be so smug. All those great recruiting classes year in and year out, yet no titles in 22 years. That’s doing less with more.

Sure will. Look up Malaki Hamrick, Zach Rice for 2022. Feel good about both coming to UNC to help the lines. Don't think we get Shaw, hope he goes to Bama if he doesn't come here.
Four-star WR, Tychaun Chapman, commits to UNC over Alabama, Florida State, Maryland, and Penn State. Also had offers from Auburn, Tenn, Nebraska, Mich St, USC, Oregon and about 20 other D1 schools.
Four-star CB, Tayon Holloway, is up next in 6 days.

n.dame has become a synonym for underachievement. with their economic, media, and ratings power they get pumped up as a contender every year, and we fans will be "treated" to another snoozer in the playoff.
Agreed. They have a fine school and a fine football program, but they have grossly underachieved when one considers the top ten recruiting classes they bring in year after year after year. Yet they are some of the more arrogant fans out there. Clemson put them in their place yesterday.

Also, 4 Star 2022 OLB out of Shelby High School, Malaki Hamrick, will announce his decision on April 29th, 2021. Has offers from UNC, Notre Dame, Ohio State among many others. Had 129 tackles, 39 tfl and 19 sacks last year. Heavy UNC lean.

Yep. Wiltfong put in a UNC crystal ball today for the 4 star RB out of VA. UNC is gonna get a bunch of good ones out of VA for 2022. Think Rice is gonna take his time but he’s big on UNC, and his mama is too.
