A Day Without Women

Okay, fellas, I apologize for calling you all out as mindless ignoramuses. Wait, no I don't.

This concludes your social experiment.
Thanks, Blue, and let me know when you would like to come down to the research center and I'll be happy to pencil you in. The Pan troglodytes are extremely anxious to glean some wisdom from your aberrant behavioral patterns.

What the hell is wrong with that guy? The world will be a better place when he bites the dust (86 years old right now).

From Fox News:

Billionaire George Soros gave $246 million to groups behind Wednesday's "Day Without a Woman" protest, according to a report by a conservative think tank.

Using "gave" instead of "has given" was intentionally misleading, because it made it sound like Soros directly funded the marches. Fox News also neglected to mention that the $246 million was the cumulative total of his donations to groups involved in the march over a 15-year span. The original quote from conservative think tank Media Research Center's NewsBusters story:

100 of the 544 Women’s March partners received a total of $246,637,217 from Soros between 2000 and 2014.

Fair and balanced, lol. And yes, I realize WaPo, NYT, CNN, etc. do the same thing so spare me the whataboutisms.

FWIW, even if this is a range of dates, that still far exceeds my salary over that same time span. My point remains...and I'm still "hongray"

I just linked the source of the disinformation Fox News spoon fed you. It is a range of dates.

So then are you angry that the Koch Brothers planned to spend $889 million in the run-up to the 2016 election? I just want to make sure I'm getting mad about the right things here.

Let me be clear on where I stand here -- I think it is blatantly ridiculous for ANYONE to pay that kind of money to ANY party for ANY candidate. I'm of the belief that we should vote for the candidate based on principles and what our own beliefs are rather than who has the most funding or who is able to pay for the most advertising. Does that help?

On the GOP side, it made me sick listening to Ted Cruz last year on TV going "we raised $xxx.xx" and we have had xxx number of people visit out website...blah blah bla-f***ing-blah. Who gives a rats ass?
