All aboard the "Like" train

When I was in England a couple weeks ago, our train from Oxford to London was delayed due to some suicidal guy on the train tracks quite a ways down the line. I don't know how they detect this out in the middle of the country. Maybe the trains have sensors or there is some GPS / camera device.
But what is the deal with these people resting on the tracks? Is it some sort of protest?

We did, and it was. I highly recommend seeing him live - his music and his stage presence are both phenomenal.

Gary Clark Jr is a badass. But I liked his first record a lot better than the new one.
