The statement "Abortion up until birth- Not a completely true statement" is false. It is completely true. There are some requirements and standards that have to be met, but the statement is true.
Yes, VERY extenuating circumstances. No one is encouraging women to have abortions. No one is hoping women will have abortions. No one is hoping women will carry babies to the 9th month and then abort the pregnancy.
I'm not a strong advocate for abortion at all. I don't think it should be used as birth control at all. I oppose it after the second month of pregnancy. But, I'm not female and I will never carry a baby in my body.
I do not oppose Planned Parenthood because I believe that provides a helluva lot more than just abortions.
No doctor will give an elective abortion up until the due date. It’s only for extreme cases where the life of the mother is in question. Suggesting that liberals want women to be able to get elective abortions up until the due date is disingenuous and stupid.

I'm fine with abortions as long as you give the father a chance to opt out if the woman decides to keep the baby. This street doesn't only go one way.
I have weird feelings on the topic of abortion and I struggle with reconciling them. But I miss the days when an abortion was something that even when you had to participate, you felt terrible for doing so. People never discussed it. Bills that allowed for it were signed behind closed doors in the middle of the night and no one involved spoke of it. Women who had abortions lied about it and were scared to death someone would find out. Even though legal, the process shamed all those involved.
Now, we light up buildings to celebrate new laws allowing it and act like we “achieved” something by loosening the restrictions. That’s telling of where we are as a species.

In most of those cases the fetus is not viable. So the baby will die anyways. The question is whether the mother should have to die as well.
Even if it were a trade, those deaths would be very different things. Claiming a mother should have to die to let a baby be born seems deeply unethical to me. Even a near term fetus does not have consciousness, but a mother does.
That's just BS. How many complicated pregnancies are there compared to abortions every year? It's clear that abortions are mostly being used as birth control. I'm not personally against this, for other reasons, but let us be frank about what is going on. Don't be a partisan idiot about this subject.
Nobody said that a majority of abortions are complicated pregnancies. But almost every late term abortion is due to medical complications. Good luck finding a doctor that will do an elective abortion in the third trimester. And good luck finding a Democrat that feels that women should be able to get elective abortions up until the due date. I don’t know a single person who argues for that.
A woman should have the right to get a late term abortion in the case of a medical emergency. That is the actual position being discussed. But yet again you prove you are completely incapable of staying on point.
