Carolina @ GT gamethread

Yeah, if he doesn't make major changes after this year I'm going to have to question his drive to win big here.
Well, whenever he talks about it, like at halftime, or post-game PC's, he sounds like he's just enjoying it, no matter what happens. And, that's fine... but, his "hunger" is long gone.

he’s got it so good right now in this league…surely he gets enough juice from realizing this, right?…this isn’t 1997.

still think carolina is going to win this game, but this agonizing effort to assert control is very frustrating…and they’ve already given up one this year, so this is a must win.

This same GaTech team lost to Northern Illinois. We're averaging 1.9 yds per carry. Longo apparently doesn't have an intermediate page in his playbook. At the very least, you should be able to scheme guys open, especially with our talent at the skill positions. But here we are down at the half again.

Even the announcers at half time are saying Howell needs to stop holding on to the ball and that the team needs to run the ball. A screen pass will help against a big pass rush but that makes too much sense. A reverse by Downs would be nice and a simple curl route by the tight ends would be beneficial.

I'm not that optimistic for this game. UNC struggles against GT in Atlanta, and they're struggling big-time.
