Carolina vs Pittsburgh game thread——Saturday 29 October 2022

I think the luck has finally run out

Pretty bad when you can't win at home after a bye week... again

Maybe we can, & maybe it hasn’t always been luck. Try a positive approach, maybe it’ll change your outlook on things, life included.

Maye touchdown number five as he hits Green for another score and homecoming looks better and better. 42-24. Those who only watch teams like Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan before they vote for the Heisman Trophy will have to think again after watching Maye’s performance tonight.

Correct, I was commenting on the "UNC hasn't seen a defense as good as Pitt's" comment. With all the flaws this team has, scoring 28 unanswered against a physical team like this is pretty damn impressive.
This is the best game so far... as I see there's still 9 minutes left

Fair enough, as a baseball coach of 35 years, I’m all about the superstition, but in all honesty, I’d rather you be a happier person than UNC win a football game.
I'm very happy... I'm cautiously optimistic about the UNC football program.

But... this game ... this game is making me much more of a believer.

The Heels have been ferocious in the 4th quarter. It's been total domination in the 4th.

This is winning convincingly! I'm humbled by the effort in the 2nd half and especially the 4th quarter. That fumble was the turning point.

Six teams ranked ahead of lost today. They maye crack the top 15

I saw the winning percentages for the next 4 games...

as best I can remember it was

UVA 62%
Wake 11%
GT 83%
NCSU 52%

If the defense can perform like this.

If we could get the RBs a little more consistent.

Good things!

Wake was 33%, not 11%. I also think UVA was higher, maybe 82%, not 62%. Ga Tech & NCSU are correct.

Noooo... the UVA was 60-something

And, the Wake % might have been before the loss to Louisville. But, it was shown right at the end of the game, so I dunno. I know the NCSU % was 52%. I think the GT was 83%, which is kind of high.

Mack in Charlottesville is a real thing. I'm just going to enjoy this one tonight and tomorrow.

ESPN FPI now at:

UVA 69%
Wake 34%
GT 86%
NCSU 56%

I think those numbers are low for every single matchup.
That sounds about right. I think the GT % is a bit high, but that will be in CH.

I wanna see them win in Scott Stadium.
