no joke ... geez dude, grab an apple and get off your lazy ass. some fresh mask free air would have done many folks wonders over the last 2 years.
I thought the more interesting part of the article was about the delay in treatments because people either couldn't see the doctor or were worried about going. I also read an article a few weeks ago with some numbers showing how the restrictions from the pandemic have hurt certain kids' education. Articles like the one I posted and the one about schools are showing the consequences of shutting down.
right. child therapists, school counselors, etc are already seeing the effects of the masking, social distancing and isolation. young kids lack confidence in themselves, they're afraid to get close to other students, they're far more afraid and paranoid than they used to be.
So first you develop new vaccine technology for SARs types viruses and others and patent it; then you fund gain of function research to alter said viruses to make them able to infect humans; then you leak the virus or someone does like China your partner and nice scapegoat since they likely were willing participants; then you lie and insist the virus could not have come from the lab; then you work very hard demonizing and shutting down every rival treatment that endangers your profits, and you make bank along with Pfizer, Moderna and others, and the globalists and control freaks in government get to use emergency powers to run roughshod over everyone's rights and plus your big corporate interests and pals benefit because they are "essential' whereas Mom and Pops establishments are labelled non-essential.
Who cares if the vaccines don't really work and are dangerous? Protecting the public's health was never a consideration in the first place.

For once, blaze and I are almost totally in agreement (scary, lol). I have been a "soon as I could get it" vax taker as I have potentially three different qualities that present as complications to covid. However, I have not gotten the second booster and will not for two reasons. The first is that more and more data is emerging as to problems with the vax/booster, particularly in the cardiovascular area which is one of my issues I don't want to make worse.I'm not 50 yet, but going to wait til fall when the newer version of the vaccines are out.

The second reason is my endocrinologist (who is top notch credential wise) is not recommending it (he pushed me to absolutely get the others) and he has not gotten it himself. A very long discussion I had with him can be summarized as follows. The only studies he trusts are the Israelis'. They have not looked at the second booster. Throw out anything from the US as politics ($$$) always enters the discussion regardless of where one falls on the spectrum. All the recommendations to get it are based on assumptions and almost no actual data. Finally, the current version of the vax was designed for omicron and before, not any of the current variants so the effectiveness is likely to be close to nil. His recommendation and what he personally is doing is waiting for the new versions to come out in the Fall so that it is at least tailored to those variants much like the flu shot each year.
Just remember, Biden and Fauci said you cannot get Covid if you've been vaxed 😆 😆 😆
I think anyone who thinks Ouchi has any credibility in regard to anything needs to know the info noted below. He may be a smart guy and have actual degrees, but he is 1000% politician or he could not have achieved this:

I go to the VA and they had a poster stating 1st booster given on first floor and second booster given on second floor in mental health. As one of the purebloods, the message was not for me. The mental health part made me lol..
Funny, I also talked to my doc about the shingles vax. He said that he absolutely recommends it, but doesn't push it for most of his patients like he had done with covid vax. Reason being that covid is potentially life threatening (remember, he's an endocrinologist, not a GP) for majority of his patient base versus shingles which is a major bitch, but doesn't kill you. The interesting part was he told me that if I wanted it to schedule it accordingly because with most people you could count on "getting sick" for a few days (sometimes up to a week) with flu like symptoms. Better than shingles for sure, but you don't want to schedule it the day before you are giving a big presentation or something.
that’s just stupid…i’m sure he meant the chances of dying are reduced with the vaccine…he should have at least clarified this…from experience alone, i got the delta last summer.

Well, with Joe, who knows what he meant. But, I'll even concede your point that he was talking in generalities and not so literal, that one should not take issue with it because of what the real intent was, etc. That's probably a pretty good approach towards any politician's comments.
Now, . . . . . . . . . . . let's take that same philosophy and apply it both ways and revisit the topics of disinfectant, Lysol, Clorox, white supremist, Charlottesville, and on and on. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Joe Biden was absolutely wrong to say, think, or believe, that any Covid vaccine was going to prevent you from "getting" it.
I'm not really sure how that narrative ever got out there. Probably a media driven idea. I've never had a doctor tell me that a vaccine will definitely prevent you from getting anything. That's not the main purpose of a vaccine. The main purpose is to try to keep you from dying if you get it and reduce your chances of spreading it. The secondary purpose is to reduce your chances of catching a virus.
The vaccine, I think, is a diluted version of the virus. You get it as soon as you get the shot.
I'm done with the vaccines for Covid. If I get it out in public somewhere, eventually I'll be fine.
