Crybabies

How would you rate Trump in that category?
Not very high. But I don't think he'll intentionally try to divide America into opposing groups either. With Obama, it's black vs white, rich vs poor, gay vs straight, and so on.

Actually, her exact quote was, "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback." Carry on.
Is that really any better? Then she goes on the Oprah Show and implies Americans have lost hope since Trump's election. Her exact words: "We feel the difference now. See, now, we are feeling what not having hope feels like." What an uplifting message to leave your term as FLOTUS with.

LOL you are right on with that one! Trump and morals don't mix, it is like oil and water! hahaha..... I would bet that Obama has never sexually harassed a woman like Trump has, IF at all.

I have had rich men come up to me and say the most inappropriate things that are just simply disgusting and they do think they can do it because they think because they have money it is one of the privileges given to them. They are pigs! Out of all those pigs I personally encountered, while they were quite successful businessmen, I would NEVER want them running this country, nor setting any kind of example for young men to follow.

Being treated, at a young age, like you are not worth anything more than some pig's sexual pleasure makes you feel horrible. Even though I told one pig that harassed me that I would gladly feed him his tiny dick if he ever touched me, it still makes you feel awful and empty. You have no idea how bad it can get, so don't give me any lip about it. You DO NOT know what it is like!

The house of cards will be coming down soon and I am more than happy to just sit and watch. I won't be jumping up and down in victory when it does, they way some of you may have had it happened with Obama, because it makes me sad. What bothers me more about Trump becoming the leader of this country is the people who LOVE him and support this man, who lacks morals and has awful character. The fact that most do not even see it, alarms me even more! If you have daughters, sisters, mothers, you should want more for them alone, but you don't.

@Raising Heel this post is not directed AT you in any way, sorry I went on a rant on your post.
Was this about Trump or Clinton?

I could care less about either's religion, that is between them and God. What I do care about is that Obama had never ran so much as a lemonade stand, and it showed. At least Trump has run something in his life and surrounded himself with those who have as well and all have been very successful. And most are not taking a salary(I know they don't need it). Obama surrounded himself with a bunch of academics who never had any real world experience.
Sir, you are about to find out why the route Trump is taking is the biggest mistake in history. He has maybe TWO people in his cabinet that are qualified for the job. Have you watched the confirmation hearings at all??? It scares the crap out of me!

I know, you won't understand it, you're head is still buried, but sit back, grab the popcorn, the show is about to get real good now! ;)

I'm not sure I have met a Trump person who actually loves him. It's either they didn't want Hilary or they like his policies. Even his biggest supporters on here have stated that he is shady on a personal level.

Thanks for telling me the proper way to raise my children.

Hell, I don't know why you didn't run for President

Have to disagree with you. Trump's entire campaign was built around divisiveness. His comments about women and minorities were beyond the pale. Nothing about the hyper-partisanship in this country is going to change (and yes, I'm pointing a finger at Obama here). It's just going to have a different flavor.

I was just trying to lend clarity to what she said, exactly. I agree that it was an asinine comment, as were her comments on the Oprah Winfrey show. Of course she's speaking from the perspective of a black female from a blue-collar family, and that's going to resonate with some people. But as you've suggested, it alienates others and contributes to the ongoing divisiveness.

Unlike our new POTUS, I know I am not qualified.

I am a Christian....I voted for Trump to keep Killary out of office, not bc either of them seemed more or less moral than the other. I don't look to our government for spiritual guidance - never have, never will. My hope rests squarely on the finished work of Jesus Christ ...not the POTUS.

I don' t care about their religion either. I never have though. That isn't the point. You (in the generic sense) cared about it in the past. Now you don't. Many here have said they vote based on their faith. I've always said that is ridiculous as none of our parties line up well enough with the teachings of Jesus. Now I don't see any on the right talking about it. So we are to believe that all of you have always felt this way? You haven't and we all know it. You just don't talk about it now because of who was elected.

I'm not sure about Trump surrounding himself with successful people, at least not successful in the areas they have been appointed to. Certainly not knowledgeable.

Remember all the protesting when Obama was elected? Remember Obama telling Republicans to go to the back of the bus? And now how about the libs torching each other when some have the nerve to meet with Trump. Poor Steve Harvey, oh the tolerant left.

I think the whole religion issue isn't about religion at all. The people who claim that they vote based on religion are actually voting based on their belief of a few policies in my opinion. In other words, they don't vote because someone is a devout Christian, they vote for them because of their views on abortion, birth control, etc.

Let me ask you a question that I have asked people before, but have yet to receive an answer. Who would you like him to appoint to these positions? It doesn't have to be a specific person, just the type of person you would like to see. It seems like people are just saying they don't like his picks just because they were his picks.

You know, @chick_bleeds_carolina_blue made a bet to keep avatar until Inauguration.

We caught her welching once and made her change it back. Now she has done it again.

I think this should be a temporary bannable offense on OOTB. Welching on bets is about as low as it gets.

what say you Jim? @heelbent

Edit- I just checked. It was until Inauguration Day. She is correct on technicality although violating the spirit of the wager.

Not surprising in the least.

And now that Barry is leaving office, she moans "....because now we are feeling what not having hope feels like."

So Barry is the ONLY hope for America- President, reconciler, father figure, visionary, cool cat, and savior, all rolled up into one.
Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmmm, Barack Hussein Obama

She needs to give it a rest. Luckily, now she will have the time, and the schoolkids can finally have something decent to eat.

Ban me. I don't care. It IS the day. Don't piss me off to the point I put an ugly Hillary avatar hehe.

I agree with the first part to an extent. I have a huge problem with that as well because there simply isn't a party that lines up well enough but people need to reationalize the person they vote for. Also, it was a big deal a few years ago though when the right was saying one person wasn't a Christian. Now it isn't. Changing the parameters now doesn't change the hypocrisy. The right has long thought they were the party of God. Is is a bigger sin than most of the ones they hate.

I would like for someone in charge of education to be someone who knows a little about education. Honestly, my entire opinion on his cabinet is based on his failure of a pick for that position. I'm cool with the rest of them tbh. Some of them are funny (like picking someone to head a committee he previously tried to get rid of) but I'm ok with that. I like entertainment and think it could be interesting.

My opinion of the department of education is so low right now that I'm willing to give almost anyone a chance. It is a big gamble though, so I'm not sure how it will end up working out. Side note, are you a teacher or involved in education? The reason I ask is that most people kind of think of the education department as an afterthought so I was just wondering if you have some kind of personal connection.

This is simple. The picks should have relevant experience. Tom Price over HHS makes sense. Ben Carson over HUD and Betsy DeVos over Education do not.

Ok, but what do you consider relevant experience? Does the head of the education department have to be a teacher? Would the secretary of HUD have to be someone who has built houses or approved mortgages? How closely related would the experience have to be?

Personally I find all the boycotting hilarious. Please bozos, continue to show the country you act like children when you don't win, and are unable (or unwilling) to work with the current administration - I'm sure it'll go great for your reelection bids.
Amen. I'll put it this way. If Hillary can show the respect and grace to be there and put a big smile on her face(even if it's Xanax aided), then those whiny beotches can show up. This has to be more painful for her than anybody else.

I've already written Alma Adams to show my displeasure with her boycott. Here's her address if anyone else is interested in doing so.
