I can’t help but think that Evans is sincerely interested in attending UNC, an in state University, or I think he would’ve already committed to Clemson or Alabama. Or perhaps that’s just wishful thinking.

I'm hoping that Drake Maye committing to Bama doesn't encourage him to follow suit.

If Evans comes to UNC, he and Murphy likely will go down in UNC sports lore as the 2 top national recruit NC guys who turned UNC football from sleeping giant to awakened giant.

Some will argue that Howell being flipped from FSU makes him that guy. And that was important. But 2 guys on D (because D wins championships) who are Top 100 recruits and commit to UNC is the much bigger deal.
