Good try. I'm a believer in "best player available"...I'll never over reach for a WR just b/c there are more slots to fill.

We'll see how that pans out :)
Anyone who drafts a QB before the 4th round automatically fails the draft. I'm not complaining though. That's just money in my pocket.

So am I. Which is why I took a 2nd TE before anyone else took their first because in my opinion he was best on the board at the time. That decision makes sense if there are trades to be had - which is to be determined, I guess. A lot of my other leagues don't have much trading, so I was hoping to be the shoot from the hip wheeler dealer in this league... we'll see if that comes to fruition.

It definitely will be interesting watching how this league plays out. It seems to be a microcosm of OOTB itself ;)

Honestly though, how many people really care that much about their TE? Once you get past the top three or so, there isn't much separation. A top 20 WR/RB is going to get you more production than almost every TE normally.

Apparently not many in this league.

Yes that's my point. The garbage that's out there past the top few is a grab bag. Normally I'm one that waits around and picks up a TE towards the backend of the top 10. But the dropoff from the top 3 TEs to the next 11 is pretty steep, moreso than the dropoff from the, say, WR15 to WR25, or RB15 to RB25 - which would make it logical to take the dropoff at WR or RB to get the boost at TE.

I disagree with that, but your picks are going to turn into money in my pocket so I'm cool with what you did.

Agreed. I was going to take Gronk with my next pick before he got snagged. Then was going to grab Jordan Reed.

At the end of the day, I don't care where the points come from so long as I get more of them, obviously. So -- if the combo of Cam Newton and A. Cooper get me 50 points on average each week....I'm going to take that EVERY day of the week over the prospect of having gotten A.Bryant in the 1st and a 2nd tier QB in the 4th who might get me 45 points on average each week.

Personally, I think Cam is the most valuable player in the league for the production you get. He IS their running game, and he has a ton of weapons to throw to. I am perfectly happy with that pick.

That'd be me. And the QB wasn't really my interest, it was more the "other one". I was merely trying to throw you a bone and give you a starting RB - as the 3 RBs you have on your team are all 3rd string in real life and you'll be lucky to get 5 points collectively from them in a given week. And throw you another bone by giving you a TE that wasn't on IR, so you could start someone that would actually play at TE. The trade is projected to give you an additional 96 points over the course of the season (if you look at the "evaluate trade" option it gives you the projected change in points due to the trade), but please excuse me for not realizing you hadn't heard of half the league, and therefore aren't interested in them.

oh okay. I'll do that. I missed the first five rounds and it auto picked for me.... someone had me distracted by a crazy movie about the Stanford Experiment that had me in disbelief and shaking my head.

I clicked on accept trade but apparently something is messed up. If you resend it I will try again

Reminder, first game is tonight. If you want a player from Denver or Carolina playing you need to set your line up asap.

@tarheel0910 Congrats on the win. Glad the Deadskins dropped $75 mil on Josh Norman and decided not to put him on Antonio Bryant.

Either they are complete dumbasses or J.No really isn't the shut-down corner he thinks he is.

Given their past, my vote is A.

Just want to remind everyone this is for money, so all trades should be even. We are all adults here. I'm not going to stop any trades, but if things look shady don't expect to be allowed in any more OOTB competitions.

So you're saying trading two top 10 WRs to yourself for two WRs that aren't in the top 30 is a faux pas?

Are these directed at me???

I have made ONE trade this year and it was this week. I'm playing to win. I saw chick wasn't even even taking guys off the roster when they had bye weeks. I noticed it weeks ago and said "You'd better start paying attention to the games!" Everyone can see each of our activity every week. So, after a few weeks of not playing her guys, I said to her, directly, "If you've given up, I'll trade you some receivers." Anyone could have asked her the same thing! There are a few people who are at the very bottom. One guy hasn't won a game at all, last I checked. Is it "against the rules" to ask a player if they want to trade since they're losing every week? She's got some other players that I'm sure she'll gladly trade to anyone who wants them. Since she started working full-time at Lowe's last month, she stopped keeping-up with her team.

If that's illegal or going to get everyone worked-up, I'll just trade back. I didn't realize that was breaking protocol. If I had stopped playing a month ago and anyone asked me to trade, and wanted my players, I'd do the same thing.

I've never been one to interfere, but this one is out of bounds. Collusion is illegal for a reason.

Never say never.

Collusion? I simply asked to trade since she'd given up. That option was open to anyone playing.
