Same here. Wasn't trying to be an asshole and knock the kid. ;)
Oh, I know.

I caught a few interesting things from that video. It has 18 million views, so far. THAT is cool because the whole vibe of the video is HAPPINESS, and it's exhibited through music and laughter, which any person of any race, creed, nationality, religion, gender or whatever can immediately relate to. The innocence of childhood is awesome. You don't have to be able to understand what they're saying to appreciate and experience what is happening.

The other thing I noticed, is the kid sitting next to the laughing boy (who eventually hugs him) has the best sense of instinctive rhythm of everyone on the floor.

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of this guy:

Seen him a few times now, most recently in Macon where a mutual friend introduced us. He will be in Greensboro in Oct., but I will probably see him Columbia the next day. He's a natural smart arse...which means he would fit in here like he fell out of the mold. Best lyricist around and a helluva nice guy.

Saw him in Los Angeles last year. Fantastic show. I'd love to catch him Greensboro or Columbia. Anywhere closer to home. Did you ever get a chance to see him when he was with DBT?

Yea I saw them a couple of times when Isbell was with them but I didn't appreciate him or his music nearly as much as I do since they kicked him out. "Southeastern" is one of my favorite CDs. He gave me an autographed copy of his new one, "Something More Than Free" when we met.

Can't wait 'til this one gets autotuned.

"I didn't know he was gettin' ate up by bees, I just thought he was just high."

The best part of that is that they actually were high.
