Yeah, I voted for him returning for FSU simply because they should be fine without him for those first 3 games, how badly he is needed should not be the factor but you know it will be.

The ironic thing is if he does come back for the FSU game he will play back to back the 2 teams he tripped players against the first 2 times this happened...In itself that is a bad look for them.

He'll be back for the game @FSU, that's the first one that the result is even remotely in question, and K wouldn't jeopardize that. They suspended him "indefinitely" because it sounds harsh and should get the media and the ACC to forget about it. If dooks next game was against UVA, Carolina, or Louisville - K wouldn't have suspended him at all.

I understand archer and I am not defending his words, I just can't participate in throwing dirt at him, right or wrong, he is still my close friend. That's why I voted for Louisville. They shouldn't need him against FSU, but FSU could be tough for them. I think he will suit up but only play if needed. Won't start, because won't want to face the full court booing him on national TV when he's announced. They'll try to limit the crowd reaction if he comes in during the game, but not much before play has started if he's announced as a starter.

A good argument - but only from a game-play stand point - would be to bring him back for Boston College. Easy win at home, to let him work off the rust before heading into hostile territory. And FSU should be very hostile territory.

Not only does FSU have a legit beef against Allen, but they know most of the nation will be behind them if they razz him all game long.

"indefinite suspension" is all well and good but the act of putting the kid back in that game should have the ACC if not the NCAA giving the coach a reprimand. It is one thing to say today that he does not condone this type of action by his players but the act of putting him back in that game last night says he did condone it last night.

LOL why would the NCAA reprimand Coach K / Duke for that? Silly talk.

Also, let's chill on the "indefinite doesn't mean anything" talk until we see how it plays out. A lot of y'all didn't think K would suspend him at all, but he did. If he reinstates him right away, then there will be plenty of time to get huffy about it.

Mental health. Allen is not the first dirty player and not first player to lose control, but his breakdown on the bench was a little more than being mad with himself. Guys elbow, guys set hard picks and guys will sucker punch each other as the battle for position, but tripping is so cowardly. I like watching the GS Warriors, but can't stand Draymond Green because of this need to trip someone. BE A MAN AND FIGHT SOMEONE STRAIGHT UP. I don't approve any of it, but tripping can mess someone's leg up permanently. Imagine if this got up and punched Allen in the face, I would bet he would immediately be tossed.
