I bet if the league calls this tripping and sends another stern reprimand, ratty will wash his hands of this punk! He'd probably kick him off the team for at least 2 games! The horror!

Of course he did it again. Natural body movement from contact like that should swing his hips, not cause his leg to go straight backward.
It's always that team doing stuff like this. Elbows to the head, kicking people in the groin when going up for a dunk/layup, tripping people, etc etc etc. This is taught over there and the one constant is the biggest fraud in college sports. Why can't others see that?

Feel bad for Jefferson, but as for Allen... I am not saying one way or another, but the timing of his leg coming out always corresponds with someone running in that same area every time.
I think the Makai Mason one where he swings his leg out and sweeps mason off his feet was more blatant than this one tbqh.
K will rise from his hospital bed and tell the NCAA to give him a 6th and 7th year. If it was not for K-Rat's selfishness in convincing Amile Abdul-Jabbar Olajawon Jefferson to take a redshirt year the kid could have at least gotten second round NBA contract last year and got paid. Amile was healthy at the end of the season and K-Rat convinced him to comeback for a championship run. Now, he has no chance for an NBA contract. I regret that the kid got hurt, but he should have left Duke last year. Giles is not out of the woods yet. Note that China Shop Giles is no where near full speed.
This is what I fear will be the next result. Mctrippy will end up being the victim because another player in a future incident will have had enough based on his reputation, failure to suspend "indefinitely", ACC beneficial treatment of certain teams/players, et al.
At some point, another player is going to stomp that leg and break it and be suspended for the season.

Exactly. When someone finally gets so fed up that they punch him for it, they'll get suspended for several games and the LOM will portray Allen as the "victim". Allen is a spoiled punk, but his actions have been reinforced by Knight Lite. I have zero respect for that man.
The NCAA and acc wouldn't have to be involved st this point. Roy would deal with it appropriately.
