Has Roy ever had a team lose 3 games in a row?

Don’t have time to do the research but I have to think no.
Going to put my money where my mouth is and make my biggest wager of the year on UNC -1.
I think Berry steps up tonight and plays a great game. Clemson is still having to adapt to playing without second best player. Maybe Felton will play well being back in SC.
I predict a low scoring hard fought 65-62 type game.

Forgot about that year.
Too late .... my die has been cast.
At least I am riding a horse not named Larry Drew.

I wouldn't make your bet based on that figure. We don't lose three in a row often because we're always really good. Having lost two in a row already though, our odds to lose this game are about the same as our odds to lose any ACC road game. Since games are almost entirely independent events, judging based on the previous two outcomes is gambler's fallacy.

After we squeaked out a win in the last Clemson game, I thought a loss tonight was likely. But with Grantham out, I like our chances.

I hope we get to see more of this guy Theo that Roy has been hiding from us until last Saturday.

People forget that 2009-2010 team Zeller missed 10 games in the heart of conference season. Ed Davis missed 14 games in the heart of the conference season. That team went into a tailspin once those guys were lost.

Good point. Zeller came back, Henson finally had the light bulb come on and most of the team developed better chemistry in the NIT.

At the time I thought we might make it into the NCAAT. But we went 3-8 down the stretch and lost in the first round of the ACCT. Still, we were the defending champs and we hadn't lost to anybody we were supposed to beat in that stretch. In fact, we had beaten a couple of teams that outranked us. So I thought we had a chance.

As it turned out, though, going to the NIT was probably the best thing that could have happened to us.

I see at least 3 more conference losses for this team, more if they continue to have a team meeting in the paint every time the other team has the ball! :):):)
