Hot Dogs

Awww vienna sausages, potted meat with a hard on.
That was funny. I ate a ton of them when growing up. We used to beg mom to makes pigs in a blanket with them, mustard, and biscuits.

Panini presses work wonders on hot dogs, BTW.
An old iron can be pressed into service for cooking, out of necessity.

You whipper snappers need to understand that it's not just about the grillin but the beer that goes along with the grillin. Trying to teach you young fellas something.

I do tend to drink when I grill every Sunday. OTOH, I have no issues with microwaving hot dogs.

@Hark_The_Sound_2010 Is that the chick from the Entourage episode who Drama thinks he's gonna get to bang, and then at the last second, she switches with her fat friend (who is "famous" for giving rim jobs) and bangs Turtle?

I think she's one of the "real housewives" that my absolutely gorgeous girlfriend watches. I think that's where I've seen her before.

You're both right. It's Lisa Rinna, who is on the real housewives of Beverly Hills. She also played Donna Devaney, ex-fling of Drama, who bangs Turtle on Entourage.

Does that include me . . ? Jus' curious . .

Is that the Hot Dog place in the historic section of WF . . ? Right across the street from a Mexican restaurant Las Margaritas . . ? Geezy weezy that place is slammed on Saturdays . .
It is in the historic downtown area. Not sure about being across from a Mexican joint, I haven't been there in some time.

Not hot dogs, but it's my thread, so I do what I want...

Eating some Allen & Sons barbecue right now, and this stuff is pure bliss. I haven't had this in years. My parents went there Saturday after a baby shower in Raleigh and were nice enough to drive down to my house to visit and bring me back a pound of the stuff after they got back. Nothing beats the barbecue from this place, IMO.

Have either you or @Raising Heel checked out Kyle Fletcher's yet? In Lowell.

I used to drive by it every day coming home from work when I lived in Gastonia. Never stopped though. Mistake?
Is not listening to my recommendations a mistake? Yes.

In all seriousness though, you should go once for the experience. The barbecue is just fine (but I'm not picky like some of the N.C. BBQ heads) but the cool part is the walls are covered in UNC memorabilia, mostly basketball. Just all kinds of cool knick knacks from throughout the years.

Plus they serve Sun Drop . . . which if I remember correctly, you don't like? If so, GFY

Sun Drop is just okay. I strongly prefer Mountain Dew, but I'll put that place on my list. I just love barbecue in general, so even if it's the worst, I'll still consider it to be good.

I love Mountain Dew (like any red-blooded American should). I'd say it's a 10/10 for me. But I love citrus drinks in general. They just jive well with my pallet. Of course MtDew is bae, but Sun Drop is definitely a solid 7.5 or 8 out of 10.

And for the past 5-6 years, I've been on a HUGE Mello-Yello kick. It's readily available everywhere here (I'm sure it is there too), even at Subways and stuff. If MtDew is a 10/10, Mello-Yello is a 9.96/10 for me. Love that damn stuff.

And yeah I love barbecue in general too. By no means is Kyle Fletcher's inedible. It's A-Ok

I probably gain 8 pounds every football Saturday because my tailgate spread usually consists of hot dogs, donuts, fritos, barbecue, and of course, beer[/QUOTE]

Sounds healthy to me.

Also, bright leaf baloney is the best frying baloney around. Please feel free to critique my spelling of baloney.
