Jay Jay McCargo has been nearly impossible to reach since his commitment to UNC but I connected with him this morning and had a pretty good conversation.
McCargo partially tore his patellar tendon last year and played through that all season as a junior. He then suffered a triceps injury at the end of last season so he's been less than full go for a long time. He had a procedure done for his tendon but is still less than 100-percent, although he did do some work at the Freak Show.
Anyways, he's solid with UNC and taking it very easy in his recovery so as not to injure anything else. He's visited UNC eight times and just continues to return because he's in love with the school.
