Apparently Dewitt has a nice step up in responsibility.

Is Dewitt is a good, smart guy and good coach or is this partly a thing of respect for Bateman's scheme? His ST were bad, but he got decent things out of Chris Collins, Tomon and Kaimon Rucker. Still waiting for Des Evans to develop though. Was he a dominant recruiter?

Scott Frost obviously liked him to take him from UCF to Nebraska.

The new HC at FIU is in his first gig, and he was a DC at memphis prior. So Dewitt could likely be running Mike MacIntyre's scheme... But maybe MacIntyre likes some of Bateman's scheme?

in the end (last season) what was bateman's scheme?
Be slow to get the call in, add some wrinkle to slow the reaction or effectiveness in the secondary, bull rush the dl to occupy blockers instead of attacking gaps, use different formations which blitz from different places which occasionally create nice TFLs or sacks.
