Rap music today is abysmal. I'd rather go deaf than to hear that shit put out as rap today.

For the most part, I agree. I was citing the fact that I still listen to a lot of rap from back in the day. I have found some newer guys that I like though. We've discussed rap music in the past so I feel like I know what style you like. I doubt the guys I listen to currently would be up your alley. But I still crush the old school stuff too.

You know how some people hunt for compliments? When people do that, I don't give them one.

Also, I like to do nice things for my staff. I'd love to give them a day off here and there or bring them breakfast just to show that I appreciate them. But I never do it. You know why? Because I'm constantly bombarded with my staff beating me to the punch to ask for days off or for me to surprise them with breakfast for a staff meeting.

I'm not sure you'll get what I'm saying but at this point, I don't care.

I think there’s a very simple explanation where everybody here makes sense.

Social media didn’t exist in the 1990s. It has completely democratized information. Anybody with internet access can express their views, often anonymously, on platforms that can reach millions of readers/viewers. The potential for abuse is obvious but so is the potential for unfamiliar voices to be heard for the first time. People are emboldened to talk about things that just weren’t discussed publicly when we were kids.

Of course the most sensational stories draw the most interest, which I think is harmful to us as individuals and as a society. Coverage of the news seems increasingly divisive which discourages solutions that require compromise. I don’t know if I have a point here. It’s just a really tragic time to be alive in a lot of ways. I hope our great nation survives the current political climate and emerges better as a result. ‘Merica!

I'm always down with the clown. That's why I liked Obama so much!!

I like ICP's older stuff ('94-'99). I'll listen to their new releases but rarely do they do much of anything I like now. I'd much rather listen the ICP than shit like 6ixdead9ine, Lil Pump or shit like that.

Who I listen to now? Tom MacDonald is friggin unreal. I listen to Hopsin, Tech N9ne, Run the Jewels, Upchurch, Rittz, Adam Calhoun, and my old school rap.
