Knox

Not sure if it's been pointed out, but more picks have been coming for Knox to UNC on 247

Their accuracy ususally comes in during the final stretch. Interesting to say the least...

I mean Jesus, how long is dude gonna take to decide? It's pretty obvious that UNC is the choice to make with it's tradition, coaching, abundance of playing time next year and coming off a Championship..
He's clearly waiting to see how the rosters shake out. If Berry does leave that's a big blow to unc bc his wishes are to play with a top flight PG. I've said unc is the team to beat, but if Berry does leave, that's a tough one to overcome. He still has in home visits to get persuaded still. ''Tis the recruiting world we live in now.

If Knox lands in Missouri, what a slap in the face of the coaches who have put in years of recruiting this kid. I know that is part of the game, but damn that would be a tough pill to swallow to lose him to a school that only started recruiting him in the past few months after the MPJ and his dad landed in Mizzou!

I think Allen comes back. He hurt his stock this year, and needs to rebuild it.

We do have room for all three but could potentially hurt recruiting for 2018

Unless Bradley or Berry jump, We have room for all 3, unless someone gets pulled off scholarship.

I really would like a source for UNC/Tilmon. Haven't read anything confirming this.

I get my info from a premium message board on another site. So I can't say who and where but I am personally not an insider. Just regurgitating what I am reading from people who are in the loop. They all say tilmon is strongly considering UNC but it could just be a smoke screen to make it look like he isn't just waltzing to Mizzou

I think our chances for Tilmon rise if Bradley leaves. Tilmon and Bradley are very similar.

They dropping Fed Ex packages on these kids. After all Mizzou is in the sec...

Only way I see him getting attention is if Knox goes elsewhere. There's simply no room with Brooks basically a "silent verbal", and Knox still in play, even if we do want all of them.

Tilmon could start over anyone on board right now, minus Bradley. But no doubt in my mind he and Bradley could both co-exist.

All speculation.

I ask because if it's 15 we have room for both Brooks and Tilmon if not than if Roy really wants Tilmon I could see him pulling a scholly from one of the preferred walk-ons

I would not look too much into the box scores. Especially Felton's box score. I remember Marvin Williams' performance at the McD AA game in 2004. He did not look like much, but he was every bit as valuable as the main guys on the 2005 championship team at the time. Marvin had some crazy performances in many of the games played. These experiences at the high school all star games are what they are: experiences. I look forward to seeing Jalek do this thing on the court for the Heels next near. I look forward to the same from Knox if he comes to the Hill.

We're allowed 13 scholarships.

Know with 12 points and 3 boards in the Jordan Classic last night. Jalek with 4 points, 1 board, and 3 assists.

Felton would have had more assist if people didn't fumble passes or pump fake like 43 times. Also they never really allowed the offense to run through him. Instead Vanderbilt acted as if he was Magic Johnson bringing the ball up and forcing shots. Felton showed uncanny court vision especially in the first half he had a three quarter court bounce pass announcer ignored the bounce pass and focused on the very atypical dunk. He also had a two no look passes in a row that led to WIDE open dunks. The first was especially impressive. Jalek froze the defenders by looking at the wing, and then driving hard as if he was going to yam it; (yes I said yam showing age a little) he then dished it under his arm diagonally back to a wide open big who looked very surprised to see the ball but dunked it none the less.

As Archer said 13 is the limit. No preferred walk-on has a scholly. Here is the scholarship roster:

Berry, Pinson
Kenny, Luuuuke
Woods, B-Rob, Tony
Felton, Platek, Huff, Manley

We have 2 spots remaining. One is being held for Knox, and the other for Brooks or Tilmon.

Idk where you guys are hearing anything about tilmon. I haven't read anywhere that he's even an option right now.

FWIW, I'm hearing Mizzou for Knox. Nothing definite yet but that's the info I'm hearing.
I'm not calling you specifically out, just the whole process in general. But I would believe more of the "I'm hearing school X" calls if we hadn't already heard the same for UNC, Duke, Fl State, etc over the past month. Word from a bunch of players at the Jordan Brand Classic was "Don't sleep on Knox to Florida State". I mean, at this point I think no one but the Knox family really knows where he wants to go.

Think Missouri is window dressing but we will see. I'm sure you're saying this because a dook guy flipped his crystal ball to Missouri this mirning

I agree, as much as I hate it, knox to us just has never seemed like a reality. His pushing his announce date back seems to help the new comers to the party, missouri...
