Keeps him injury free and therefore his stock still high. If K played him more he would be playing him out of a lottery position. In all fairness to the young man he has been injured but I really thought we would see more out of him this year.

I think Giles is an arrogant jerk who has been taken down a peg or 2 and he never truly considered UNC other than for the prestige of saying he was recruited by Roy. If you need proof take a look at Theo's commit when he put on the UNC cap and then takes it off and places it on Gile's head. Giles couldn't get that cap off his head fast enough. I knew at that moment that we weren't getting Giles and actually glad we didn't. Roy would have been blamed for his struggles but K gets a pass. The narrative would have been Roy and OAD's blah,blah,blah.

While I agree that Roy can be obstinate at times, he is no where near as arrogant as the LOM. Those who make that assertion are comparing apples to oranges. I've met them both more than once and the difference between the two is night and day. One is personable and down to earth, the kind of guy you'd like to have a few beers with, the other is not.

I don't defend Duke. I have defended posters from that board in the past I felt were being treated unfairly on here.

Given his injuries, I don't feel Giles is the right player to pick on. I don't care if he never scores another point for them. But he's never displayed behavior I find purposefully antagonizing.
