You obviously have a very high opinion of your own opinion. Chill out a little.
You guys can hate me and say what you want but Julius randle AND his Mom said the same thing. Coach came across as arrogant. Now I don't think he was I just think something went down like. Look son your not going g to be promised a thing. We hit practice and you earn that starting job. But I will not promise you a starting position. We a know LOM pretty much guaranteed Giles he would start and get the ball from day one... See where that got him. I imagine Roy had the same convo with him and it rubbed him the wrong way. Shouldn't have but did. There is also the game at chapel Hill this yr where Tatum and Giles are warming up RIGHT in front of our bench look back at our coach point his direction say so.ething to themselves look back at our coach and laugh... So I don't think Giles is an angel
This is funny I mean really but I promise I would talk it in person too got kicked of inside Carolina for a week for handling out my address and phone number to someone who decided it was ok to insult my kids not Kool even over the internet but I digress... Maybe the fact that I have been up for three days with a newborn has blunted my senses if so my apologies that photo is funny though. If we have to guarantee a starting position in order to sign a player, I say tell him to GTFOH.
Pretty much what our coach said only with dadgum. Remember coach Smith never promised a thing he famously told a recruit Carolina doesn't need you we will still be Carolina without you. That recruit later committed I believe it was rashers Wallace. Memory is fuzzy though so I could be wrong. Today's kids don't seem to handle that well they wanna be told how great they are not what they need to work on.
If a kid decides to go to dook that's his choice; albeit a bad one but so be it. However they are open game on this board to be blasted (mostly in jest). So I don't care if this giles kid is "decent" for a dookie or not, but in the end he's still a dookie and can therefore GFH.
And not too bright either, if he calls RW arrogant but signs with a prick like kay.
Don't you know Kay is the LOM and the GOAT...He watched as the redemption team blew through the Olympics in 2012 and again in 2016 had a front row seat. He did some amazing non coaching... I mean amazing... You should have watched it... Amazing...
I understand that position, however I only really 'hate' dook players if they display the kind of behavior that makes them unlikeable. Grayson Allen is a prime example, I have no sympathy for that kid whatsoever, same with Redick, Scheyer, and others I've disliked over the years. But take a guy like Kennard. He's a dookie, and I dislike him for that association, but do I really hate him? Not really. He's a solid player, good worth ethic, and many of us here have openly admitted we'd like to have him on our team.
Carolina hasn't had as many antagonistic hateable players as dook has, but even then I save my ire for those that are actually pricks. Hell one of our own, Michael Jordan, is a complete asshole. I love having the GOAT on our side, and he's an amazing player, but I've read stories about that guy and he's no angel.
