Tyler Hansbrough isnt undersized or unathletic? What? man, im so happy I watch the NBA more than CBB if people actually think otherwise.
It is easy to criticize when you are sitting on your sofa (probably a good 30 lbs. overweight) and shoving pizza/chips/pretzels down your throat only to wash it down with swigs of beer! **And probably NEVER played the of basketball at the D-1 level**

Hansbrough wasn't a ridiculous athlete but he was pretty athletic.
It's not the team I have an issue with, I'm pretty satisfied with things so far, it's some of the comparisons being made.
Isn't ever one entitled their opinion? No matter how dumb it might sound to you it is their opinion nothing else. Meanwhile Luke deserved a pat on the back did he not?

If those responses had been more civil, and not included words like "stupid," "lazy," "lame ass," and insinuated that I was basing it on race, then they may have not gotten aggressive responses back from me. Those are completely in line? There is no reason for that BS, and I see no reason why I should take it without throwing flames of my own. Some of these "fans" on here don't think anyone's opinion but their own has any validity.

Look, some of this is just a brand new low water mark for silliness, no one is comparing Luke to Hansbourgh and no one is saying Manley will be the second coming of Jamison. That is just a couple people pulling out snippets of words some have tried to use and spinning them in to total silly nonsense and claiming well this person said this or that. It is nothing more than a need to start a conflict, to carry on the BS from the off season and take joy in disruption. You cannot have a reasoned discussion with folks like that gary and especially you of the insult me, I am gonna show you an insult son. LOL
My suggestion is not to wade in to the cesspool because we all know where that ends up, exactly where some want it to, knee deep in waste.
Why not start me off with a link to a thread where someone said Luke Maye didn't deserve to wear a Carolina uniform?
The one caveat is that it can't be a game thread because people say all kinds of silliness in those threads- if I have learned nothing else in 13 years on this board, it is that.

No disrespect, but it's pretty sad that some of these (poasters/posters/poe toasters) refuse to be held accountable for their own words and get mad when people call them out for it. Even worse is that many of them need others to rectify their insane statements. It's like dealing with children who can't be accounted for their actions.
And tbqh, if this was meant to be a Luke Maye appreciation thread, you really could've fooled me, because it started off like yet another "call out the nasayers" thread.

Any "beatings" Maye took here after IU are a bit unfair. Not like they're chumps. Without the FW loss, they'd be #1 right now.
Plus, dude was zero games removed from an injury. I think had he gotten to come back against Radford or Davidson, we may not even be having this conversation. JMO.

1. Don't get defensive when we get on you for comparing our legends to our 7th-8th men off the bench, when you say stuff like "Hans was also unathletic " (which he wasn't) and "I see a lot of Jamison in Manley". You're opening yourself up to it.
2. If it was just IU, we wouldn't have killed Maye. However, it was the entire ACC slate last year as well. Let's see what kind of game he has vs UK. Hope for the best, not expecting it though.

It is clear to me that a few newish peeps need to go back where they came from. I moved from TOS when I couldn't take entire cliques that insist on turning every thread into a personal attack and never talk actual UNC bball.
There just is no way a sane adult acts like this unless they are a troll! If the intent was to cause disruption, then Mission Accomplished Mr. Wuffie/pukie/kitty! (wish you had the cajones to just admit who you are, though) Hopefully, you have made your Mamas proud.
