Marcus Paige joining the coaching staff

True story. I was trying different streaming services to replace cable. I was watching this game on sling tv, and the feed buffered right when Paige was going up for the shot. I never thought about switching from cable again.
Buffering is almost always a problem with your internet. Do you get your internet through a cable company? If so, it's kinda funny that their screw up caused you to stay with them.

I now use a T-mobile internet box, Verison also has a version of it, not nearly as solid as cable but cable is not an option where I am. Was got spotting from a phone I used exclusive as a modem thru a company that gave me unlimited hot spot for 30 bucks a month, was really crappy with constant buffering. With my box, I still get some buffering but FAR LESS than I had before. Cable is the deal but if you can not access cable, you need one of these boxes and a stick (I use a Amazon Fire Box) and together it all costs what $60 a month? I was spending nearly $200 a month with cable, only thing that for me really sucks is I do not get the History channel or ESPNs, I can if I add YouTube TV, did that for a while and may add that back just before next football season begins.

And what happened after still gives me f'n heartburn...
For me it is more what happened before - refs were all about some 'Nova in that game, and in addition 'Nova hit so much slop in the way of guarded 19 footers, etc. Great play by them at the end and was actually happy for Jay Wright, just sucked for Brice and Marcus.

But that was then - great to have Marcus Paige on our staff - hopefully he gives this coaching thing the full go and we have him around for a long time!

DirecTV streaming. Problem solved

I worked for Dish for a few years and I simply did not like any of our internet options, they were less effective than what I have now and way more costly (Direct was using the same options we did with Dish). I assume you are suggesting a version of a dish in my yard but I need internet more than TV, that has been the hang up. I am in a bit of a unique spot where I live and that limits my options more than most.

Back to Marcus joining the staff, I really wonder how much longer lebo will stay on staff with us, he seems to me to be a bit of a odd fit. I see the draw with Creighton playing for us but afterward? I would like to see Marcus able to actually hands on coach for us rather than having to stay off the practice court. I heard a few years ago that Joel was really focused in on tuning his jump shot in that off season between his frosh and soph seasons and that Marcus worked with him a lot to get it solid. If true then lock him in a practice court with Seth Tremble and don't let him out till November! LOL (yes, I know how the NCAA looks at that but so what, now days the NCAA doesn't enforce a darn thing)...

No. Direct TV has a streaming platform with all the same channels and packages. No dish at all. Even includes dvr

But you need internet access, that is all my box does, gives me internet.
So your internet box is basically just a device with a cellphone data plan that you use to access internet and watch Netflix and such?

What sorts of speeds do you get? Is it an unlimited plan? Do they throttle you after some number of GB?
