Mike Tyson says

Hagler is my favorite boxer. That dude was bad. Those welterweight/middleweight battles of the 80s were special - Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran, etc.
yep, I liked MM best also and it chagrinned me that he got robbed in the Sugar Ray Leonard bout, and not just because I didn't like L:eonard...although that didn't help either. It also didn't help that I paid to see that fight along with a big crowd in what used to be called Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh. HELL of a fight though.

tell me what didn’t make sense
K.
huh?…they’re all friends.
this although it's obvious you didn't get the joke

the mexican dudes just beat the hell out of each other and they’re boys.

this because I had no idea who the Mexican dudes were but then you were replying to someone who probably did know.

the issue at hand is eye balls…and as it appears, the netflix servers weren’t prepared.
this. Definitely this.

That was painful to watch
Tyson threw like 17 punches whole match. I saw sparring video where he looked pretty good. Last night he just looked old and scared. Never really took the fight to the guy. Looked like they were both just happy to get their paydays without getting hit.

Those bitches though…..that was worth the whole thing. They went to war. Then the one girl got obviously robbed which brings it back to the reason boxing sucks. It’s all rigged.

you’re right, didn’t get the joke.

“mexican dudes” was likely due to me not getting your joke…apparently everyone on the card other than girls like each other.

“the issue at hand” at that point was the fact that me, along with others that pay for netflix, were either behind in the broadcast or it was lagging so much that it was hard to watch.

The most memorable prize fight I’ve ever seen in my life. Yes, Hagler was robbed.

see what I mean, I hope? I easily got that there was a problem with the broadcast. But here's you..."the issue at hand is eye balls". Does it occur to you at all that I have no idea what you might be referring to or what you mean by the issue being 'eye balls'?

because i referred to it earlier due to the lagging…that was the main issue…people were, like me, complaining about it.

can you imagine the people(eye balls) that already subscribe to the platform and not being able to watch it because of server issues?…like netflix never accounted for it??

i think i’m following this only because i respect your opinion and response…good to know we can still do this.

When I first read this, I thought you were talking about the ring girls who have gotten a lot of positives on social media as the real winners, lol. The stuff I was able to see about the lady fighters, looked like the one was head butting the shit out of the other.

I don't know if it's all rigged or not, but I do know that boxing has fallen off the map of the sports world. I think it's one of the reasons for the crazy popularity of UFC amongst the under 40 crowd. They don't have any reference to when boxing was actually "good".

I always had the feeling that boxing was doomed anyway given its violent nature. You know when you start having helmeted and padded quarterbacks start wearing a dress that the prominence of a sport that involves repeated punches to the face and body is on borrowed time. But if I could wave a magic wand and bring boxing back to what it was for a while there, I'd sell the back 40 for that wand.
