More Problems On This Board (I want everyone's take on this)

He contacted me before this thread ever started. I had no idea, and still don't, about what went down. He never offered any real detail. I tried to convince him to stick around. It's not that big of a deal and should work itself out.

He probably isn't. But I'm willing to bet he's the only one that would stoop as low as to reach out to Rivals corporate to try to get them to fight his battles for him.

Since you know exactly what happened; Share it please? If he felt like he was being targeted, and unjustly treated, then I can at least understand why he might do that. I don't keep up with who gets banned. If I notice people are gone, it might take a while. The last time Billy and the boy were banned, I thought they'd merely taken a personal hiatus by their own choice.

I seem to recall, last summer, when a whole platoon of you guys collectively took a sabbatical and then all came back together for whatever reason. I don't think I ever acknowledged it, during or since, on here, until just now.

I'm no more "in the know" than you or anyone else on this board, but we can all see that uncboy10 is not currently a poaster on this site because his name doesn't populate when we go to tag him. Therefore, he either deleted his account - or was banned. It has been alluded to that he was banned, and I'm inclined to believe that.

Then shortly after that, we have this thread come up noting that a poaster has contacted Rivals brass about being unfairly targeted. It's an easy assumption to make that the poaster that was recently banned, who is also one that has whined and cried to moderators, and then to AJ, would then take the next step up the chain to cry to Rivals when he couldn't coerce the previous two to do his bidding for him.

When you say political trolling are you referring to the previous thread regarding General Michael Flynn pleading guilty of a felony and now cooperating w/ the Mueller investigation.
Ditto for those Papadop, Manafort, Cohen, van der Zwann and Richard Gates threads . . ? All who are currently or have been contributing info to Mueller's Russia invo . . ?

Turmoil in the Trump WH doesn't deserve any threads right ? If, you want to call all that trolling, I'd disagree with you and call it political awareness subjects that deserved discussion.

Billy doesn't like Trump. Billy dislikes Trump a lot more fervently than anyone else on the board. Billy really, really, REALLY dislikes the Trump administration. The road has rocks in it.

That reminds me; Has anyone seen that Domino's commercial about people driving home with their pizza and it gets destroyed along the way due to potholes or whatever in the road? That has got to be the dumbest ad angle I've ever heard of in my life. Chain pizza is usually unbearable anyway, but this idea that our roads are gauntlets of treacherous pitfalls is ridiculous. I can hit a speed bump at 55 and the pizza will survive. ETA: And, it will be really good pizza from Peppino's in Clemson, or Todaro's.

You would today. Yesterday it was 96, today is 37 and raining. My girls softball team was supposed to start our district tournament today but it is now postponed till tomorrow and Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who posted their thoughts in this thread. From this point on, there will be no tolerance for any threats toward anyone, racism, porn-related stuff or hijacking of threads.

If a thread is started about cars, music, movies, food, other sports, etc, it needs to stay there. Hijacking it with political garbage will lead to a one-week ban without question.

The most common complaint I’ve received over the last few days is how this board used to be much more fun when people didn’t do that. But, in this political climate, it’s happening more and more.

So, if you can’t control yourself to refrain from posting your political spewings in a thread about cars, a movie or whatever it may be, provided it’s not a political thread, you don’t need to be on this board ruining it for others.

Political threads are fine, but please follow the simple ruled also noted above.

None of us want to see this board eliminated, though I can assure you it was one of the options and had some support among our staff and Rivals. We're keeping it because we have faith this will work moving forward. I hope it does.

I don't believe that's necessarily true. Of the three options presented, there was one to blow up the board, and the other two both had the removal of moderators: one with banning Boy, and the other with allowing him to come back.

None of the options presented had the inclusion of moderators, so to say the majority would like to see it unmoderated is impossible to tell. Personally, I'd love to see @heelbent continue in his role, provided he's a glutton for punishment and desires to continue to deal with people going behind his back to undermine him.

That way if you enter the fray, you will be on your own. It may be easier to moderate that way. @BillyL , care to rank up a thread like that?
