Nas Little wins McAA game MVP

why the hell do you care?...why would anyone care who noticed and in what order?...unless you’re getting paid, and people on here clearly aren’t, you’d be a loser for hanging out on a fan site discussing it.

and if you wanna be fanboy ranked, go over to duke’s site and join that crowd.

If you want to stir trouble over some jovial chiding, and something that's none of your damned business anyway, then I've got some advice for you:

Take your "fanboy" crap and GFY.

Second? Seriously?

Best I can tell, yeah.

I'm certainly not saying I was the second to notice him or the second to have a high opinion of him, but from what I can tell I was the second to post about him in a positive light (and the first to say he should be our top SF target).

Maybe someone else linked to his highlights without mentioning his name (preventing it from showing up in the search), in which case I'll cede the "title".

It's not actually important. I'm not claiming to be an expert talent scout or anything. I thought Nas looked like a future All-Star when he was ranked ~#50, so I feel mild pride now that he's blowing up. Nothing more than that.

Not sure, but I think he was insinuating once again that gary & FlaTarheel are the same person. Again, I could be wrong, but I promise not to get pissed about it if so.
Not sure how you came to that conclusion. If that were the case he would have said third not second.

Not so much but, hey, as long as you don't think I'm @FlaTarHeel , and if that makes you feel good, then go with that...

How in the H E double hockey sticks does it matter who was first or 12th? Geez folks, this off season is already starting off jumping the childish shark! Geez...

From the USA Basketball camp:

Zion is 6'6" in shoes with a 6'10" wingspan and an 8'7" standing reach.
Na is 6'6" in shoes with a 7'1" wingspan and an 8'9" standing reach.

Thank you for confirming my opinion. In shoes....okay so I can give him 6' 51/2" at best. .

Jeez, neither of them can touch the rim without jumping.

Who needs 'em?

All you ever do here is snipe. You are a completely useless poster who just waits for any opportunity --- even one as unfounded as this --- to take shots at me.

I know a good bit about this game and talent, and I'll make no apologies for stating that as fact, and enjoy sharing info and discussing hoops with other civilized posters here. Right about now, I'm just laughing at you because I am the furthest thing there is from a "fanboy".

You. on the other hand, seem to be obsessed with me. So go get a life, STALKERBOY.

Such a positive thread derailed by a really really dumb argument...and this is coming from ME.
Actually, it was a good-natured "argument" hijacked by a sniper who tried to turn it into something negative. Nothing more, nothing less, but unfortunately all too common.

Nope, not soo garry, he gets good info on SC recruits.

Now let's get back on topic and quite the "mee first" crap, y'all all way behind Clint on Little.

Not to be argumentative but I do not think it was the best decision for Zion to go to duke and frankly, picking us would not have been a better decision. I say that because duke as well as we are really stocked with 4s and 3s. Now of course he will and would have played no matter where he went but he is going to have to share time at duke else that team has to play a lot of guys well out of position. IN the end Zion is a short 4 with exception strength, Reddish likely becomes their wing with Barrett most likely at their 2. Had he went to Clemson he would not just have been the featured player, he would have all the PT he could have wanted and not had to share the spot light. Just IMO...

BTW, I strongly believe Naz starts for us next season either at the 3 or the 4, strongly suspect at the 3 but that may depend on Cam. But some did not agree, wondering if maybe that has changed in their minds now after watching his work in the Micky D game?

I suppose I'm one of the people you're trying to call out. I'm okay with that. I still don't think Roy will bench Kenny, Cam (if he returns) or Luke. If Cam leaves, which I really hope he doesn't, the decision will be easier. My opinion has always had little to do with Nassir's ability. I'm thrilled he chose the Heels & expect great things from him next season. We're lucky to have him. I just don't think Roy will bench those three players for anyone. I've said the whole time that I think the other positions depend on summer development. If Manley improves like his skills suggest he can, I think he will be the fourth starter. If not, that will leave two positions for Nas, GB & Coby to vie for. I think Nas has the advantage of those three, but that's just my opinion. That doesn't mean Roy won't think Seventh or one of the other upperclassmen are ready to start. Unlike many of you, I'm pretty sure Roy wants to see how all the players progress over the summer & see how they look against top competition, before making that decision. IMO, it's wise for everyone to do the same. Nas absolutely looks good enough to start & Coby could be a serious consideration. We may play without a true PG next season, which is why I've thrown out the idea that Cam could be a Theo like facilitator. Regardless, I'll wait to see the off season progression of our upperclassmen & how the freshmen look against seasoned competition, before deciding who the other 2 starters will be. I still think Kenny, Cam & Luke are a given, if they're all here & healthy, when the season starts.

On a side note, after watching the McD game, I'm even more confident about our chances again Duke next season. :D

Barking up the wrong tree, Mike. It was a nothing but a good-natured exchange until that jackass got involved. I don't GAS what info he gets if he's going to come on here sniping and trying to cause trouble. Getting sick and tired of that crap.

Good thread minus the silly bickering, hate to lock it but it will stop.

I was not calling you or anyone else out with what I said, all I was doing was asking based on having watched Naz in the Micky D game, did it alter those opinions. It was not in any way a "I told ya so" snark shot. ;)

Long story short, Nas Little has the rare combination of a kid that is super talented but also
Feels that his talent isn’t respected. He plays with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. Kids like that usually work harder than their peers and end up being very special.
