OK - that is about as flat and off and asleep and ugly a half as I've seen this year, and we're still tied. I hope Roy lights a fire under these guys.... we need to get something regarding scoring out of our guards. 3 points total from Jackson and Paige? At home no less. Come on guys.
We have played well enough on defense. We usually shoot a lot better in the second half for some reason. Here's hoping we can continue that trend.

Very poor first half ......Hicks clearly a stud and needs to play more. Lucky to be tied look for Brice and MP to get us going in the 2nd half
just a garbage effort all around that half - you have to be up to play nc state bc you know they will be for us - only the forced to's were a positive. We are getting zilch inside and rebounding terribly on top of it. Not to mention the fts. At least we are tied

Great little run there. Berry with a stone cold 3 and then steal and assist on the fast break. Essentially the same thing Britt did in the first half... Both were fun to watch.
Berry a three from the right elbow and a Meeks run out and Carolina retake the lead. Defense intensity much better to start the second half. Paige still can't buy a basket. Hicks a beast going to the hole.
OK - their two bigs have 3 fouls each and nobody to back them up off the bench. We HAVE to run everything inside out, beat them in the paint, IMO. It will open up more open looks from 3.

Rebounding and fouls is the only reason these clowns are still in this game..they better get a bucket here or this might be the run that does them in!!
Still need to go inside. Don't settle for guarded midrange jumpers or 3s. That said, the ones Britt and Paige have missed, have been decent open looks. They can't hang with us in the paint though. They will get tired, then we'll bring a fresh Hicks in on them.
47-38 after a Johnson short shot. It started with Britt and now it is Berry who has completed taken Barber out of the game. Meeks has woken up in the second half and he has inserted himself.
