Newest Yahoo! Article on FBI sting

Another article that details the discussions between agents and coaches. Mentioned are Bowen, Miles bridges, Jarell Martin, Lauri, and others.

MSU and IU wanted Bowen and worked with an agent to try to steer Bowen to their programs. This is crazy

All of a sudden us and dook are out of the headlines while AZ, state, and Michigan state are front and center with hands still in the cookie jar with chocolate smeared in their collective mouths talking bout who me... Couldn't be than who

I was under the assumption earlier today that all this was going to be was a couple kids got paid while the rest got free meals from an agent. Then I come back to see Zona and KU directly implicated.

How much more of this can we expect to see? I fully expect to see some heads rolling very soon if there's more.

There are a lot of folks that always thought Izzo was one of the good guys in college babaketball. To me, there was always something about him that just seemed sneaky. As of today, it sure doesn’t look good for him or MSU.

We are getting dribs and drabs because this is all leaking during discovery. Expect more to come out.

this MSU news - wow - if it sticks, even the pressure and controversy swirling around Izzo & Bridges, is bound to have a big negative impact on Sparty even this year, and even if Bridges plays out the rest of the year.

How is KU implicated?

Not confirmed yet, but:

Jones, according to Yahoo, received $2,700, which included a Feb. 1, 2016 advance of $1,700. That date is before Jackson committed to KU on April 11, 2016.

KU coach Bill Self was reached by The Star on Friday morning and reserved comment until he said he could study the report. He issued a statement Friday night.

“After reading the article this morning, like most of us involved in college athletics, we’re hearing and learning about it for the first time,” Self said. “I, along with our administration, am evaluating the credibility of the information related to Kansas.

“I do know for sure that we did not use Miller’s agency for recruiting purposes or any purpose.”

This.

He was even on that list of most clean coaches along with Bennett, Beilien and others. Sucks to see this. I always figured him, Roy, and others to be some of the good guys.

If self had no idea this sucks agents getting their slimy hands in a kid is unreal enough but to use he parents to do that is even lower. We weren't getting these players so we are gonna be fine I think Tony bradley and Brice Johnson are the extent of us. Now we sit back and watch as all these teams who poached right from out front door... Cough AZ cough sweat it out... Right coach Miller?

This is crazy. Guys this is going on all over college basketball. Nobody is untouchable in this. This could get really ugly.
