Now that DirecTV has been bought by AT&T, it's lost some of its monopoly on Sunday Ticket. For instance, my brother who no longer has DirecTV purchased NFL Sunday Ticket on the PS4. The interface is really cool. It's very easy to switch between games, you can put games in P-I-P mode, and it will show a ticker at the bottom when a score happens in another game and you can just click a button to watch that highlight or add that highlight to a queue so you can watch it instead of commercials. Pretty nifty.

I'll double check with him. There's a chance he got a discount on it since he's still a college student. Not sure.

Or in addition to the Sunday ticket, what if they offered ala carte options, such as for $10 a week, I could watch all games for that week. Or for $5, I could watch a specific game that's not offered in my local area.

As a Panthers fan living in NC, I get to see all their games anyway. But They had a bye yesterday, and I really wanted to see a game that wasn't being shown in my area: Rams-Vikings (even though it didn't turn out to be a close game, it looked good on paper). I would be willing to pay similar to a pay per view movie to watch games which are of interest to me.

I don’t have cable at the moment so my buddy gave me his Dish password and I pull it up on my iPad and mirror it on the tv. Oh he has the red zone package which is pretty sweet. Nothing like freebies.

Vikings - Lions: NFC North could get interesting if Detroit wins. Should be a good game.

Chargers - Cowboys: whoever loses is pretty much done in regards to their wildcard chances. Should be a hard fought game between two teams who need this win bigly.

Giants - Skins: two teams going nowhere. Should be a good time to take a nap.

But I will say that McCown can be a really good passer (at times). However he does give you the potential goof ups as well, as witnessed by the fumble, which thankfully turned the game around for the Panthers. I suppose that's why he's been on 8 different teams now. The Man has played for 1/4th of the franchises in the NFL!
