I understand the frustration of not getting any calls when you have multiple guys draped all over you play after play - and then getting phantom OPI calls against you when you don't initiate any of the contact - but you can't take shots at dudes like that.

I hadn't seen it until just now. Honestly he shouldn't play the rest of the season. There's no place for that. Guy was completely defenseless with his back to Gronk who didn't even start the process of teeing up on him until the play was obviously over. I don't care what else had happened, that's despicable.
While a multi-game suspension for that hit would be a big overstep, I wish they would have done it. Suspend him for 4 games so we can finally have a healthy Gronk for the playoffs. It would also prevent him from hitting a few milestones in his contract which would keep his cap hit down - win/win.

Dude shouldn't be allowed to play another game until next season, and he'd still be considered lucky. What if he screws up and accidentally severely injures the guy? So if he decides to take a cheap shot, and all of a sudden the guy he does it to can no longer move his legs, is it still a one-game suspension? I know I'm being a bit dramatic, but that kind of stuff needs to be cut out because you never know what could happen, no matter what his intentions are.

Honestly don't you think it does look bad that those two dudes last week got 2 games but gronk only gets 1? Maybe you could say he doesn't have a history of cheap shots like Talib or Burfect, but if the NFL is saying it wants to protect its players then this was worse to me than this clowns fighting last week, and deserves at least 2 games.
