NFL 2017-18

I guess. He went 36-28 and had them in the playoffs 2 out of 4 years, which seems phenomenal considering it's the Lions.

But I think they have a new GM, who probably wants their own coach.

The playoff appearances are nice, but in his tenure, he has very few wins against teams that either made the playoffs or finished with a winning record. If their goal is to win a Super Bowl, he's not the coach to do it.

Arians will be resigning, so that makes 6. Joseph is also likely to be gone, which to me doesn't make sense.

So the Bears only win 5 games but 3 of their wins had huge affect on the playoffs:
Steelers - drops them from 1 to 2 seed
Panthers - drops them from div champ to wc
Ravens - drops them out of the playoffs

Bears are probably looking for an offensive minded coach to work with Mitch.

The Lions are planning to interview Patriots DC Matt Patricia and Panthers DC Steve Wilks.

I hear they have 5 picks in the first two rounds. Even the Brownies can't screw they up, can they?
Well, they already fired the GM that made the moves to get those picks (as well as a crap load of cap room), but are keeping a coach that they should get rid of. The epic fail has already begun.

It's hard for me to grade Jackson's performance as the Browns head coach. That team has very little talent. It's hard to win in the NFL without a good quarterback.

I think the new GM was told he couldn't fire the coach when he was hired.

While the previous guy did acquire some assets, he had chances to draft Wentz, Goff, Watson and passed on all of them.

Former Lions HC Jim Schwartz the favorite for the Giants job according to ESPN.

Good, keep their grubby paws off the Pats coordinators

The Browns will have 2 picks in the top 4 of the draft - #1 and #4

They’ll find a way to botch it. Taking a QB and Barkley at 1 and 4 might give them the look of the Rams with Goff and Gurley - but their D is a long way off from the Rams D.

One QB will likely be off the board by the 4th pick with the Giants picking at 2

Vance Joseph will return to the Broncos for the 2018 season. They could have a good team if they can find a reliable QB.

And all those guys would have failed in Cleveland because there is no talent there. If you don't have at least an average line and one or two playmakers, a rookie QB won't last long. He got them in position to get that and a couple of good free agents. It also hurts that they can't even keep a front office together long enough to unpack. The constant turnover hurts.

Marvin Lewis still unsure of future with the Bengals. I don't think he will return next year.

They tried the Oakland A’s mineyball approach with Sashi Brown which was a terrible mistake.... He had no football experience so even with all the draft picks couldn’t make us better

I thought Del Rio did a decent job in Oakland. I guess they really want Gruden.
