Well now he's staying; gets a 2 year extension.
I didn't see that one coming. I think a change would have been beneficial for both sides.

yeah, probably so. That was a weird scenario.I didn't see that one coming. I think a change would have been beneficial for both sides.
Not knowing the other finalists, I would guess all 3 get in first year. But HOF voters have been known to act morally superior and drag out some candidates for years because they don't like their personality, off-field antics, or murder acquittals.Ray Lewis, Randy Moss and Brian Urlacher are all HOF finalists this year.

I think TO is also on the ballot.
couldn’t stand t.o., but he’s first ballot, imo...he’ll probably get screwed.
This is his third year I believe. He's made it as a finalist before, but didn't make the final cut because he's an asshat.
He does have the numbers, but he was just so extreme with his behavior towards his teammates that it's hard for some to overlook. I think he gets in at some point, but openly trashing teammates as much as he did hurt him.I have a big problem with voters who refuse to vote for an athlete for the hall of fame solely because he or she doesn't "like" the player. If the player had a criminal record or got busted for PEDs that's one thing, but to use a HOF vote as a popularity contest is ridiculous. I didn't like TO either, but he deserves to be in based on his numbers.
Best of luck to him. With his smallish frame, I Hope he doesn't end up like RG3.Lamar Jackson declares for the draft.
Exact same thing I was thinking.Wild-card weekend... who ya got? My guesses...
Chiefs beat Titans
Falcons beat Rams
Jags beat Bills
Saints beat Panthers
Yep. Personally, I don't mind seeing TO get skipped a few years. His numbers stack up with the best of them, but part of being a good football player is being a good teammate. TO was about as bad of a teammate as it gets, so it's hurting him, as it rightfully should. At the end of the day, I think he ultimately deserves a HOF bid, but not seeing him get in right away is justified, IMO.He does have the numbers, but he was just so extreme with his behavior towards his teammates that it's hard for some to overlook. My guess is he would retire before he would go to another team.So where is Belichick going to be next year @Hark_The_Sound_2010?

It's very likely that all the home teams win. But I threw in one road team - Falcons - just because they have the playoff experience over the Rams.Chiefs
Rams
Jags
Saints
After reading that article it makes me wonder if he decided to basically give away Jimmy as a screw you before he left.My guess is he would retire before he would go to another team.
It sure sounds like he's pissed about the whole Jimmy G trade. It was surprising that they gave him up for a 2nd rounder when they could've gotten more.

Lamar Jackson declares for the draft.
lamar jackson is interesting...a better passer than vick, better runner than rg3, and was trained under an elite o-coordinator in petrino.
Rosen declares for NFL draft. Not a big surprise.
Darnold declares as well.

I think it was Dean Smith who said how difficult it was to beat a team for a third time in a season, but did you know that teams that swept a conference foe in the NFL regular season are 11-5 against that same team in the playoffs? (Doesn't bode well for the Panthers, does it?)
Dammit Mark.I think it was Dean Smith who said how difficult it was to beat a team for a third time in a season, but did you know that teams that swept a conference foe in the NFL regular season are 11-5 against that same team in the playoffs? (Doesn't bode well for the Panthers, does it?)
I just heard It's actually 13-7. Not much better.Dammit Mark.
I know all this, just trying to hold out some hope.I just heard It's actually 13-7. Not much better.
I just don't have any faith that the Panthers are going to keep Kamara and Ingram from running all over them again. And if they are able to stop the run, then Brees is likely to light them up. But even worse is that the Panthers offense is so inconsistent, and Newton has been turrible throwing the ball the last few games.
Sorry. Just being realistic.
Same here. I'm trying not to get to hopeful so if they do pull off an upset, it will be even sweeter.I know all this, just trying to hold out some hope.
Yeah that was pathetic. What really sucks is that the Panthers D played more than well enough to win that game.![]()
This is when I was done with Cam!
