If that report is true, it would definitely be interesting. Belichick hasn't really forgiven the Browns for firing him the first time, so I think he's hesitant to hook them up with their QB of the future. Also, I think he had some respect for Jimmy - Cleveland is where he banishes people when they're fuk ups (see Jamie Collins), so maybe he just wanted to do Jimmy a solid and send him somewhere he would have a chance at success.

So, I have to ask... you live in Shelby, but you're NOT a Shelby fan? Is that in reference to the high school or the town itself?

My dad used to live in Shelby, so just curious.

Its the school I like in Shelby but I went to Crest and of you know anything about high school football in North Carolina that is hate like Dook Carolina. I worked with a bunch of Shelby fans so I was notashelbyfan.

norv turner is the rumor for the panthers...i won’t get into my feelings about him when he was in dallas, but he might help cam develop more and he’ll definitely get your receivers developed.

It seems like Norv has had an up and down career. Maybe he can help make the Panthers O more consistent? But I'm not even sure where he's been coaching lately and I'm too lazy to look it up. So that kinda bothers me that he's become stale in the NFL.

He's a better career as a coordinator than as a head coach. He helped develop Troy Aikman, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers so he can't be that bad.

He's currently on his couch. His last stop was Minnesota as OC.

Round 2:

AFC should be easy wins for Pats & Steelers, setting up an epic rematch for the super bowl. But you never know. If I had to pick an upset, I guess I'd say Jags, but how can you have any faith in Blake Bortles? Ugh.

In the NFC, I want Philly and Minnesota to win, but the damn Falcons and Saints will win; and then New Orleans hosts the NFC championship game next week. Blech.

I think the Steelers hang on, but I wouldn’t be all that surprised if they lost. That whole team is not only looking forward to, but also talking about, playing the Pats next weekend. Not a good time to be overlooking an opponent.

I'd like to see a Steelers-Saints SB. Both QBs are very underrated. If that happens I think there is a good chance the winning QB retires.

Wow! Eagles coach is a ballsy dude... They've been fumbling, stumbling, bumbling down the field and end up scoring a TD on 4th & goal. 6-3 Eagles early after their kicker doinks the extra point.

Titans already ****ed by the officials twice. The second one can't be undone with review either. Just ridiculous the job NFL officials do on such easy calls. So predictable when the Pats are playing.

Third time screwing the Titans. Then a push off from Pats on long ball they don't call even though he missed it. NFL should be embarrassed to have such an awful bunch of BS. Trump is wrong about the NFL. This is the reason ratings are down.

Gronk pushes with no call. Decker runs legit route with penalty.

Salder holds the dude after the play is long over and Titan gets penalized because he is tired of it. Such BS.

Ball is in the air and should be interference, not illegal contact before the throw. Clearly while the ball was in the air.

Even the clock operator stuff is kind of shady. Mularkey is a damn trainwreck in terms of decision making though. Just no idea what he is thinking at times.
