NFL 2017-18

A lot of pressure on the Jags to go get some points on this next possession.

I still can't believe Stefon Diggs went to Maryland. He would've been a STAR at a blue blood school. #1 recruit in the nation.

Also.... I don't know why you would ever play corner back in the NFL. I hate how weak pass interference calls are.

I have no interest in this NFC game but that is two PI penalties in a row that were both terrible. Heck, on the first one Treadwell grabbed Crawley and pulled him into him.

Love it. Any team that gets to play the Browns twice a year deserves to lose in the playoffs.
What's your feelings on teams that get to play the Jets twice a year?

That second PI shouldn't have been called. Look like the dude slipped down.

Besides the catch rule, soft PI calls are my second least part of NFL officiating. They need to make it 15 yards like in college, IMO. That way, a bad call isn't nearly as damning. I can't think of any other penalty in the NFL that can theoretically let you advance the ball 99 yards (assuming the QB could heave it that far)

Oh definitely... defensive PI should only be 15 yards. I hate the current rule too.

It is so inconsistent from game to game and team to team as well. If those two plays are PI the Jags wouldn't be allowed to play defense. Many other teams as well.

Lol the first one was an obvious penalty. Agreed on the second though.

There was initial contact by Crawley, which they didn't call as that wasn't interference. Then it looked like the receiver literally grabbed Crawley and pulled him into him. When he got pulled he obviously interfered at that point but it isn't reasonable to just ignore what caused it. The receivers have a huge advantage anyway without stuff like that.
