Brees is a classy dude. That had to be heartbreaking for him.
He has always been one of my favorites. Just think he is a great dude all the way around. Happy for the fans of the Vikings though.

All he had to do was wait for him to catch, tackle him, and the game is over. Unbelievable. What kind of a play was that from the DB?
I would still love to see them win a SB in my lifetime; I suffered through their last two super bowl losses as a kid, and many playoff heartbreaks afterwards. This was unreal ending...Tbh, I'm pulling for the Vikings just because of what their fans have gone through.
Good call, that was the right thing to do.XP is important to many. I would just take a knee.
That whiff by the db was just odd. No other way to put it.
A really bad one lolWhat kind of a play was that from the DB?
I say that because Saints - Falcons is the rivalry. Carolina - New Orleans isn't a rivalry. Not a two-sided one, anyway.
Yeah if anything I dislike the Falcons. Saints are ok, but i did want the Vikings.I say that because Saints - Falcons is the rivalry. Carolina - New Orleans isn't a rivalry. Not a two-sided one, anyway.
I wanna pull for the Vikings, but something is holding me back. Can't put my finger on it, really. Maybe it's all the purple.Yeah if anything I dislike the Falcons. Saints are ok, but i did want the Vikings.
Jimmy Johnson was trying to say the DB was wanting to avoid interference. But all he had to do was wait for the catch and tackle him. Game over. And as a double whammy, he took out his teammate who might have been able to make a play. Just crazy. That was one of the worst plays on defense I've ever seen.
So you're probably not a Prince fan either then? LOLMaybe it's all the purple.
Well Carolina leads the all time series against the Saints 24-21, so....I say that because Saints - Falcons is the rivalry. Carolina - New Orleans isn't a rivalry. Not a two-sided one, anyway.
Doesn't make it a "rivalry." The Panthers are the new kid on the block. The Saints - Falcons rivalry is nearly 50 years old. It is what it is.Well Carolina leads the all time series against the Saints 24-21, so....
Sooo...
Tom Brady
Nick Foles
Case Keenum
Blake Bortles

Yep. To see something like that live is cool. It doesn't happen often. That game right there is why we love sports, folks.
Hmmm...... something is different, but I just can't put my finger on it.....Sooo...

That's it!! 3rd round, 6th round, and undrafted?? Losers.Must be that Bortles was a 1st round pick and none of the other clowns were.
But the NFC is the visiting team this year so if they made it, I assume they would have to use the other locker room. The Vikings are one win away from being the "home" team in the Super Bowl.
So you're probably not a Prince fan either then? LOL
They almost lost on their own turf today. If Minnesota wins in Philly it’s going to be hard to beat them on their own turf.

New England is getting another one. I think they will play Minnesota and the Vikings will lose ANOTHER Super Bowl.
BTW @Hark_The_Sound_2010 I bet Gronk watched that Saints - Vikings game today and LOL'd at some of the cheap PI's they called on the Saints. Gronk gets pass interfered with on every single route he runs and it never gets called.
But you know, the Pats get all the calls.
No one gets nailed as much for OPI as Mike Evans on Tampa, but yeah Gronk gets called for it a lot.He definitely gets interfered with constantly. Doesn’t get called very often, as a de facto punishment for being bigger and faster than whoever’s covering him. He gets nailed for OPI a ton (maybe most in the league?), which he definitely does as well, but they seem to look very closely at him for it.

You hit on a good point about a de fact punishment for being bigger and stronger than everyone covering him. I know you don't like Cam Newton, but I think you'll agree that a similar phenomena exists with him. He takes a lot of licks while in the pocket (i.e. as a passer) that don't draw flags, while the same hits on literally any other QB would draw a flag. He gets de fact penalized for being a ginormous human being, which I think is pretty terrible. I'm still disgusted about the season opener against the Broncos from this past season (?). Grossly irresponsible officiating in that one, with respect to not calling roughing the passer as he was getting abused by Denver.
