NFL 2017-18

I also don’t really get why people love to hate on Brady. I mean, I get the envy side of it. But is that it? Seems like people just don’t like the guy which is odd. He’s been a total team guy, a fiery competitor and never outspoken or brash. He’s also great at football and married to one of the hottest women on the planet. The dude has it all. So jealous of him, yeah, I’m that. Mad at him? Nah.

Successful, rich, athletic(ish), handsome, supermodel wife. He comes off as a tool sometimes, but I suspect most of the hate is because people are jealous. I certainly am.

Drew Brees is a free agent people. I doubt he leaves the Saints but just saying.

I wonder how another team might view him. He’s a legend but I just get the feeling his decline will be rapid. I think you’ll see it clearly as early as next year. But a bridge guy to show the ropes to a young QB? He’s perfect for that. A real professional and great leader. With that said, I can’t see him wanting to leave or the Saints not giving him a big lifetime achievement contract to end his career.

Agree. He's still in a very good situation so why leave? If it weren't for that miraculous play they are likely going to the SB.

i can’t put montana in any discussion of greatest qb’s ever.

however, brady is the best i’ve ever seen and my list started with elway and manning.

and if i’m brees, i’m staying put...payton’s system has kept him upright at his size.

The one downside is that it's caused me to not care about the regular season. If it wasn't for gambling and fantasy I probably wouldn't even really follow it. Even when the Patriots were 2-2 and lost at home to the Panthers I couldn't even get too fired up about it because I knew they'd still end up playing this weekend.

Must be nice to have that luxury.

He comes off as a tool sometimes

It's gotten so much worse of late. Earlier in his career he was awesome, legitimately humble, somewhat of a rags to riches story, seemed to only care about football and winning, and someone who seemed like a great person to have a beer with.

Ever since Giselle's indoctrination he's been kind of a dink, artificially humble, constantly focused on his brand and image (he turns his practice jersey inside out when interviewed so that he doesn't give Nike any publicity without being compensated for it), and always slinging his TB12 method (the guy eats avocado ice cream and won't eat tomatoes for crying out loud, nevermind drink a beer).

But hey, he still wins games/championships so that's really all I care about. #GOAT

read that bill doesn’t care about the first four games so much that he uses junk defenses and experiments with o play-calling because he realizes the preseason is not taken seriously by most orgs.

so, basically don’t look at any new england stats until after week 4.

I think at times he acts like a complete baby on the field. He is kind of like a Dukie tbh, always whining to the officials and pointing at people who brush up against him. However, off the field it is extremely hard to dislike him. He is gracious and humble, always with something positive to say about other teams and players. I really want to hate him more but he makes it difficult with how he is when not playing. He is also ridiculously good of course.

Romo never knows when to shut up. I usually dont care about announcers, but God he's so damn annoying. Someone should just shut his mic off.
He does talk A LOT. Don't worry, gtee will come by soon to swoon over him haha (for the record, I was a Romo fan when he played. The dumb Cowboys FO never built a team around him).

As for this game, Patricia is getting worked. Pats are gonna have to stop selling out to stop the run and are gonna have to blitz Bortles and get him to make mistakes.

Gronk is one of the NFL's most iconic players, but the league is going to lose him within the next 2-3 seasons. They do not protect him at all. Probably time for the college targeting/ejection rule to make its way in to the NFL.
