Except for the call that ended the game. That isn’t really acceptable. You also are a Brady guy so are as biased as me just in the other direction. No way to justify freezing up on that play when it was that blatant.
He was perpendicular to the guy. That is automatic when it is the reason he gets the edge.
Sorry, I mean unless it is the Pats. I've probably seen them play more than anyone here. Some old stuff every time they take the field. They are the Duke of the NFL.
As am I. I didn't see it that way. Complaining about holding is a bit much. It isn't just mindless drivel when folks say it goes on on every play. It really does.
Not sure I'm a "Brady guy." I think he is 110% clearly the best QB to ever play. But I don't live and die if he wins games or not. Unless UNC is involved (and honestly, even then), I'm pretty non-biased when I evaluate how a game is called.

It does go on every play. The NFL acknowledges that. They also have said it should be called when it impacts the play, as it did here. It wasn't. So the question is why did they miss it? It seems pretty consistent, just like in the first half of the Titans game last week when it was tied up and three or four calls go their way that even the announcers call out. It always seems to help one team.

That Jack fumble recovery should have never been blown dead either. May have been a TD. I can hate on the Pats all day. I'm not ashamed of it.
Jags had the best pass rush of any team this year. To come out of that game with without any holding calls is absurd. Pats were mailing the Jags.
There were also 3 blatant missed PI calls that killed drives for the Jags.
It’s part of th genius of Belichek. He coaches his guys to do it knowing the refs aren’t going to call it on them.
one of the more interesting subplots to this game is that the vikings have keenum, bridgewater, and bradford as qb’s.

That’s a tough one if Keenum gets them to the SB. I think Bradford is done there; he’s always injured. Not sure about Bridgewater. I mean I thought he was ok, but not sure if he could run the Vikings offense any better than Keenum.

But, like I've suggested and @TarHeelMark reiterated today, they should adopt the college rule and make it 15 yards. That way a missed or bad PI call isn't so egregious in terms of yards awarded.
I am actually NOT going to watch the SB. The two teams are both repugnant. Philly has THE most obnoxious fans on planet earth and NE hell they are the Dookies of the NFL So sick of them and bellichek and Brady.. and the calls they get ....God it is like watching Punksont and Vader at UK east. I am just going to the movies or do something else. Waste of time to watch these two teams. I will bet it is one of the LOWEST rated SBs in a decade.
Yeah, of course. Because it is the Patriots. It happens all the time and is considered good defense. That was the only call against the Jags I thought was bad (though I would like to see the delay of game again as from my understand once the clock hits zero the ref looks to see if the ball is snapped and then throws the flag if it isn't). They didn't show a replay of that one though. Outside of that bad PI call the only issue I had was the holding NE does and gets away with, which was there for everyone to see on that one play.

Saw a video of a couple fans wearing Vikings jerseys (attn: @UNC71-00) walking into the game. I don't know if they mouthed off prior to the camera rolling, but I doubt it since they were so far away. Anyway, these guys are just strolling to the game and Eagles fans are throwing full cans of beer at them. WTH is wrong with people?
