I’m a Panthers fan, baby. Never liked the Jags. Just calling it like I see it.

There have been plenty of NFL games this season where the officiating was awful and deserved to be criticized. I've banged the drum on it in this thread during the season. This game wasn't one. I thought it was officiated very accurately. The Gronk helmet-to-helmet was correctly called. The one big DPI on the Patriots' drive right before half where they scored was correctly called. The blatant hold in the open field on Jaguars' tackle Robinson was called. Other than that, the refs let them play and only threw flags when needed. They also correctly identified some plays in real time that were tough to identify, and got them all right (the Jack fumble recovery, some of the sideline and endline catches, etc.)a-Obvious call, not sure why one would justify not calling it. I mean, it is hard to argue that guy didn't have the angle to tackle him without the hold, which is the very holds they say they call.
b-Already admitted that.
I disagree that it was obvious. His hands remained inside. You see that kind of block on just about every play.a-Obvious call, not sure why one would justify not calling it.
Apparently not.He was perpendicular to the guy. That is automatic when it is the reason he gets the edge.
Apparently not.
As am I. I didn't see it that way. Complaining about holding is a bit much. It isn't just mindless drivel when folks say it goes on on every play. It really does.I’m a Panthers fan, baby. Never liked the Jags. Just calling it like I see it.
Not sure I'm a "Brady guy." I think he is 110% clearly the best QB to ever play. But I don't live and die if he wins games or not. Unless UNC is involved (and honestly, even then), I'm pretty non-biased when I evaluate how a game is called.Except for the call that ended the game. That isn’t really acceptable. You also are a Brady guy so are as biased as me just in the other direction. No way to justify freezing up on that play when it was that blatant.
They win too many playoff games to be Duke lol.Sorry, I mean unless it is the Pats. I've probably seen them play more than anyone here. Some old stuff every time they take the field. They are the Duke of the NFL.

Jags had the best pass rush of any team this year. To come out of that game with without any holding calls is absurd. Pats were mailing the Jags.As am I. I didn't see it that way. Yep.one of the more interesting subplots to this game is that the vikings have keenum, bridgewater, and bradford as qb’s.
2018 is gonna be an interesting year in free agency
Yep.
Maybe the panthers can finally get a no. 1 WR? Nah, who am I kidding.
That’s a tough one if Keenum gets them to the SB. I think Bradford is done there; he’s always injured. Not sure about Bridgewater. I mean I thought he was ok, but not sure if he could run the Vikings offense any better than Keenum.but who do you go with out of those guys?
i think they’re all free agents...teddy might have one more year, though.
Probably, and it will be disgusting.Pats will steamroll the Eagles.
Forces him out of bounds. That's what drew the call.

But, like I've suggested and @TarHeelMark reiterated today, they should adopt the college rule and make it 15 yards. That way a missed or bad PI call isn't so egregious in terms of yards awarded.
Are you sure? Seemed like they called it one.forces him out of bounds?
that’s not a penalty on the db

Isn't the play supposed to be blown dead if a delay of game is called? I thought that was weird. I didn't hear any whistles or anything while the play was going on.
Saw a video of a couple fans wearing Vikings jerseys (attn: @UNC71-00) walking into the game. I don't know if they mouthed off prior to the camera rolling, but I doubt it since they were so far away. Anyway, these guys are just strolling to the game and Eagles fans are throwing full cans of beer at them. WTH is wrong with people?the news/videos coming out of philly is straight disgusting...low class people up there.
