Well, that should be about it. Do NOT like these missed FT's, especially at the end of the game.

Overall a dang good game and it is oh so good to see Marcus back and playing like he hasn't missed a beat. Beating the terps when they lit it up from outside like they did is a very good sign, especially with Trimble having a career game.

Best defensive job we have played this year. Still give up to many wide open 3s. And we need to do a better job at the FT line. Should have won by at least 15. But all and all best game this year. And it great to have MP back. Now back to the football board. GO HEELS!!!!!!

We all luv Marcus Paige but Trimble is putting on a show. Maybe Pinson can cover him because the other three guys cannot slow him down. Best game I have ever seen Meeks play on both ends of the court.

I think Trimble scored 2 more points after this post and that was on a steal off a terrible pass by us.

Space - I couldn't agree more, and I will never understand this. Maybe I have Hicks favoring glasses on, but I think he does absolutely everything better than James, all the time, on both ends of the court. I think he should get every single second of Joels' time..... unless it is a matter of Roy thinking our big three of Meeks, Hicks, and Brice aren't conditioned enough to cover the 4 and 5 spots all game between the three of them. None of them were even in remote foul trouble tonight. No excuse for Joel to see the floor IMO, in games that are closely contested, anyway.

Roy probably won't do this but I would love to see Jackson play the 4 at times to offset the frontcourt minutes if Joel's minutes ever get eliminated. Now, I think Joel needs to play some because there's going to come a point where we'll need him to be ok for 20 minutes (due to foul trouble, injury, whatever).

I'm concerned that Jackson will get lost a bit because we have 4 guys who are somewhat ball dependent players to score. Aside from Paige and Jackson, we aren't the best at moving without the ball so Jackson's shots will naturally decrease.

I would love to see Berry off the bench because we have 0 punch off the bench from guards. But I have a feeling he won't be as effective without Paige. But I think getting Jackson looks and the ball with Paige back is really important. Jackson could carry this team and needs to be a vital piece of the offense.

But again, Berry is the point guard. So he won't be coming off the bench. Pinson will be good in that role, as will Hicks and Britt off the bench.

Roy went with James too long in that half. I think we need a 7-8 man rotation.

Just reading through the game thread now for the first time from last night. Glad to see others were so flustered with the lineup Roy went with last in the 1st half when we had a chance to really step on Maryland's neck. This is a big frustration for me at times with Roy's sub patterns at times where I want us to go for the kill early in a game. Of course Roy is a HOF coach, so what the hell do I know...hahahaha! Woke up very happy Tar Heel fan this morning!
