But in all honesty - I really have believed that when you get to the level of success UNC has, you grade your season on "March"...not November thru February. I don't even get worked up mid-season because all you want to do it position yourself to be a top seed in the tourney...everything else is just for bragging rights.
That game was even better than the Miami beat-down after the dook loss. The DEFENSE they are playing is impressive. I remember looking at the score with like 6 or 8 mins left and ND was still under 40 points, I think.
I also think that Notre Dame never shook-off that 18-0 run from the first half. They seemed to play like they were beaten when the 2nd half started.

Worth noting that ND's offense is top 5 in offensive efficiency. If we play defense like that for the rest of the season, everything else will take care of itself.
A couple of games back they seemed to be scoring fine, but the other team would stay close. The d has ramped up and now they are clicking. Last night looked like a pre season #1 team. If they handle VA, then I will be as excited as I've been in a long time
