I use the watch ESPN app on my phone. I've got an adapter that lets me hook it up to the TV.
That won't work for me since I dropped cable, and no, Internet provider doesn't work since I've tried that. At least not for TWC (or Spectrum, whatever they wanna be called). I do have the ACC Network via Sling TV, so I'll keep a closer eye on that.

You have Watch ESPN also through your Sling TV login, mi amigo.

When's the last time you tried TWC? Not sure if you know, but they were bought by Charter. That's what I have and the app works fine.

Sling / Playstation Vue is THE way to go if you can't afford / can't have DirecTV. Screw cable. I'm very happy with Playstation Vue. I get all the sports channels lol. All of them. For $34.99 / month.

Watched the USMNT match last night on frickin BeIn Sports.

Totally agree. Switching to Sling was the best thing I've ever done. There's nothing I can't watch that I normally did when I had cable. Sure, you're usually about a minute behind, but who cares? Beats paying a ton for junk you don't care about. It's top quality too. I have people come over, and they can never tell that my TV is streaming.

By the way, haven't we had this conversation before somewhere? I feel like there were 500 threads, including one that spanned 10 pages. Oh well, maybe it was just a dream or something.

My brothers.

I've been a regular on the baseball board up until this season. DF1972 and I used to poast the game threads but neither of us is very active this year.

And yes, all but three of our baseball games have been available through ESPN3/ACC Digital Network, and the second game of the Miami series was actually on Fox Sports. Availability of baseball games has never been better.

I highly recommend the ESPN3 app over Sling to watch these games. Sling's interface doesn't do a very good job displaying the overwhelming amount of content on the ACC Digital Network. JMO.

To make everyone feel better and make non-revenue sports feel like they matter, these rankings apply a huge number of points to sports outside the "big 3."

So are all the sports weighted equally, or is this like affirmative action where they're so focused on making sure the unprofitable sports have a leg up - that they apply an even higher weight to those than the two major (football/basketball) and two somewhat major (baseball/hockey) sports?

I'd have to look because I don't remember. Here's the website. I'm sure the methodology is listed

I'm in the PS Vue crew, btw. Got it a couple months ago - so definitely keep this thread updated if there's good events on there that can be watched.

I'm hoping one of either logging into my PS Vue, or logging into my work's VPN will allow me to stream the FF game this weekend from Paris.

They've talked about foreign player's parents (Estonia guy from SCar and Polish 40-year-old from Gonzaga) watching their son's game via the NCAA's March Madness app, so I think you're good to go on that.

There's a limitation on the NCAA March Madness app. I used it to watch some first round games at work. After [insert uncertain amount of time here] it gave me a message that I only had 1 hour and 13 minutes (or whatever) left for streaming games.

The time limit is a free period of viewing. All you have to do is enter your TV subscription credentials -- PS Vue in Hark's case, which is an eligible provider -- and he's fine.

Hmm, now that you mention it, it might have asked me to login in with my credentials. Not sure if Sling credentials work since their service doesn't include CBS. Just tried to check but it only applies to live streams so I dunno.

Hark has PS Vue, which I can verify 100% does work because I've used it.

Not sure about Slingaling

Don't they have cable in Paris, Texas?? Lol

Big win for the diamond heels over FSU 3-1. JB got another win with a solid 7 innings, 1 earned run and 10 strikeouts.
Watched as much of this as I had any other game this season. Bukauskis was incredible again, minus the hit batters late in the game. And the freshman McGee with a big home run after FSU threatened late. I'm telling you guys, this is a solid team. Should be a fun year.

That dude is really good. He'll be pitching in the majors, no doubt in my mind. Fast ball in the upper 90's and breaking balls in the low 90's. Good luck trying to hit that.

He's our ticket to Omaha. Can't wait to go watch a few games. My fave player is Logan Warmoth. Me, my brother and nephew were at the game last year against Louisville where he hit a walk off home run. ELECTRIC.
