Apparently Roy threw out the first pitch. 52 mph heater right down the pipe. Of course I just checked into my hotel down here so I didn't make it. Bummer.
I'd be a lot cooler if I did I know. My plan was getting off work by 2 and down here early enough to relax and take in the game but of course that didn't work. GPS has me 19 minutes from the stadium but Asia is refusing to go bc we have to be up at 5:00 for a flight.
I feel you. Plans often deteriorate once you get into the hotel and kick the shoes off. At least tell me the hotel has free wifi? Put this game on the laptop or phone, fam.

Just got a chance to cut the game on. How pleasant.
I started to feel bad for the USCjr pitchers. The Cocks were about 8 deep in the bullpen and couldn't find anybody who could throw a strike. After walking in two runs, they finally threw one over the plate and the crowd erupted with a Bronx cheer. A little unsportsmanlike for my taste, but it was kinda funny.
It was a lot of THEIR fans doing the cheering during the part you're talking about. I saw it on the tube.
Not sure if that makes it better or worse, lol.

Here is something I thought about while watching the game last night. When Fox retires, do you think that Chad would leave SC to come back to UNC?
Also, as an extension to that, Bubba has the chance to go down as the best AD in UNC history or the worst AD in UNC history. If he stays he will most likely have to hire a new coach for basketball, baseball, women's soccer and women's basketball. Those are some of our top sports and if he makes good hires then he is legendary. If he makes average/bad hires then he's probably looking for another job.

I have dinner with friends tonight and will miss most of the game unless I can catch some of it on my phone. If it were any other dinner I'd consider skipping out, but it's for two very good friends who are moving to Ohio this weekend so....

Moo won the last game of the series on Sunday. We still take the series 2-1, so I'm not too disappointed by it. We haven't lost a series in ACC play this year. If you haven't watched the diamond heels play yet, then you need to.
UNC women's tennis team also blanked WF this weekend 7-0. That's the fourth consecutive shut out for them. WF was ranked 26th at the time so it's good win for them.

Yeah it was hard to get too upset over dropping the Sunday game, since we still took the series. It's baseball, occasional losses are normal.

ETA: Women's team also lost, but they should easily make it in. They sit at 12-2 right now. Season finale is Saturday at duke.
Forgot to mention men's tennis as well. They beat ND 6-1 on Sunday, which was senior day. They finished the regular season unbeaten at home with an overall record of 21-3.
Finally getting my Diamond Heels fix. Going next weekend when Clemson comes to town. Super stoked.
Men's lacrosse has to beat ND and make the finals of the ACCT just to be eligible, but most likely will have to win the ACCT to get an invite.
