I can. You stupidly believe that 35-40% equals 85-90%.

Moron.
I can honestly believe you're a liar, because I never said or even implied that...liar.

All you do is lie. And you might be too dumb to understand the truth.

In reading this thread, I've been thoroughly convinced that the orangeman invented the idea of stealing an election and he is the sole reason for the problems that exist today. But then I consulted social media news and saw this from a few days ago. I'm so confused.

At 26 seconds in: "Right wing extremists already have a plan to literally STEAL THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. And, they're not making a secret of it"

Sure you did, you knucklehead.

Answer these two simple math questions, blue, regarding space and time:

How many days does it take for the earth to make one revolution around the sun?

How many hours does it take for the earth to make one revolution on its axis?

I'm glad Russia is basically saying we don't care if you're a celebrity, break our laws and you are treated like anyone else.

Remember kids, don't smuggle drugs into Russia. This one feels very obvious.
From what I understand, she didn't smuggle anything in. This whole thing is basically Russia seeing an opening to arrest a famous American right at the beginning of a war. And if you think Russia's justice system is a place where people are treated fairly, well, you should read up on it from someone besides Putin.

The lesson here is don't be dumb enough to go to a hostile country that has a history of this type of shit.

Sorry, I'll revise...don't try to smuggle anything out of Russia.

If an American gets caught with drugs in Russia, they go to jail. Brittany should not be treated differently and I'm glad she's not. If Russia is also using this as a PR thing, then more power to them for taking advantage of an idiot.

Why should she not have gone to Russia? If she didn't have drugs then she'd be home. The problem wasn't going there, it was doing something illegal while there. My view is that if you're dumb enough to break the law in a country that you know is f-ed up then that's on you for stupidity.

answer this simple question fishlips....why don't you just honestly address what I actually said instead of as usual creating a distraction from the fact that you're a liar? The words are there, why don't you copy and paste anything I said that isn't true?

It's because you can't.

Here's another challenge. Spell revolution. correctly.

Answer the questions, bluetard. If you can.

I haven't been keeping up with it lately, but my understanding was she wasn't trying to smuggle anything. As far as being treated differently, their justice system is known for being corrupt. She may be treated the same as others, but there are plenty of others who are treated differently. It sounds more like you don't like her because all of the anti American stuff she did/said.

I mean, sure, don't love the anti-American stuff but it's more about her thinking she's above the law. It's about Lebron James thinking she's above the law. She's not.

Drugs + Russia = jail. That simple.

Her only chance now is a prisoner exchange and I doubt the State Dept. has any interest in that.

I think a prisoner exchange for someone that could cause real harm to Americans and the US and its allies would be a big mistake, made for no other reason than scoring political points with uneducated voters.

speaking for myself, I don't like her at all but the fact is that she knowingly brought personal use drugs into a country that she either knew had laws against it or SHOULD have known that they did. My sympathies don't follow. If she gets out of it I'm just as happy as if she doesn't. I don't care either way. She made the bed, she can lie in it.

What will make me irate is if Biden concocts some behind-the-scenes deal that gives up something just so he can crow about having rescued her. Or even if he doesn't crow, as unlikely as that would be.

I almost kinda sorta feel bad for college kids or "gap year" kids who get caught with drugs in south east asia while partying, but Griner is 32 and should know better. Apparently she accidentally had 2 cannabis vape oil cartridges (medical prescription) in her travel bag. If it was truly an accident during packing, then that sucks, but ignorance isn't an excuse.

Shooter in St. Louis had a dozen 30-round magazines. Gun jammed after he'd killed a teacher, a student and wounded 6 others.

There were SEVEN security offices in the school.

St. Louis Schools Superintendent Kelvin Adams said seven security guards were in the school at the time of the attack, each stationed at an entrance of the locked building. One of the guards noticed the gunman trying unsuccessfully to get in at a locked door. The guard notified school officials, who contacted police.

Sack said the call about a shooter came in at 9:11 a.m. and officers arrived and had Harris down by 9:25 a.m.

Coulda been really ugly.

hey @carolinablue34, Hillary here is pretty much implicating the conservative members of the SCOTUS in some phantom conspiracy to steal the forthcoming elections. She all but calls our duly appointed justices 'extremists', in the most insidious manner possible. And that's just for starters. She's claiming that a plan is either in place or is being put in place to steal the upcoming elections through judicial rulings based on the Constitution that would put the power to control electoral votes more firmly in the hands of the States, just as the dems boo hoo'ed for after Trump was elected.

What she's doing is planting a seed in the 'minds' of the mindless that a coup is taking place. Can you explain how qualitatively what she is doing is any less a threat to democracy than what Trump has done? How it's any less against our democratic ideals?

Don't bother with overall scale, I'm talking sameness. There's plenty of time for that trash to be scaled up.

So what say you?

I think it was a mistake on her part because she simply didn't stop to consider the law because she falls into a star category where such things are normally never at issue. But, it is a problem for everyone traveling to another country or even another state. Just because it is legal, allowed, or ignored where you are located doesn't mean it will be where you are going. People literally get in trouble at airports all the time traveling with their prescriptions. Check before you travel.

Edited to add: I once was at a CSN concert and the funniest thing of the night was when it was Crosby's turn to talk between songs and tell a little backstory. He said something like, "If you take anything else away from tonight's show, it's don't get caught with drugs in Texas." The crowd went crazy.

First, let's ask an obvious question and set it aside for consideration and thought. Why does a St. Louis school need SEVEN security officers in one school? Wow.

Second, I'm surprised you would post about good guys with guns stopping a bad guy with a gun.

First, anytime good guys have to stop a bad guy with a gun, it is only a positive OVERALL story if nobody was hurt.

Second, the gun jammed. So good guys stopped a guy with a jammed gun.

Well, because we are not gifted with all knowing and all seeing vision of events to come, it's kind of hard to know that a person is a bad guy with a gun until he brandishes it and starts using it in a bad fashion. Thus, the likelihood is that something bad is going to happen in that moment.

At to the gun jamming, this isn't Hollywood where much of the public's firearm "education" comes from, it isn't that hard to clear a jam. Most can be done in a matter of seconds and they don't actually occur that often., particularly when a gun has been shot repeatedly with the ammo in use. We don't know the details yet (and may not ever), so it's possible the guy didn't take cover to clear the jam, etc. Realistically, we don't know if the jam really had an impact without further information. But, I'm happy it did and that there was an appropriate response. Perhaps those intentioned on mass shooting in the St. Louis area will now realize that schools are not the soft target that previous media coverage has portrayed.

He's not wrong on either.
Hopefully, he can tell if it's raining or not. He's not wrong, but that doesn't qualify him for a job as a meteorologist.

"China", to him, is basically one person who doesn't like him. His perception is that simplistic.

Also, don't try to change the narrative. No one said anything about this being an OVERALL positive story. No one likes any shooting any more than they like cancer or car wrecks.

What's the narrative?
Took cops 14 mins to engage, the guy had a dozen magazines and only 2 are dead. My perspective is that STL is lucky.

Completely irrelevant statements but thanks.

Fentanyl is being disguised as candy and China hates America. Therefore, Walker was not wrong. End of story.

The evening news two nights ago said police were on the scene in four minutes. I suppose the next ten were spent following the sound of gunfire to the location of the shooter and engaging him. Not bad.
