OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Bro, no one has to “get something” on you. You do a great job of looking like an angry, emotionally disturbed, child all on your own.

And again, I don’t say that to mock you and others with emotional issues. I really do hope you get the help you need.
do you have any idea how idiotic you look and sound telling someone on a message board that they have emotional problems?…you’re the same individual with multiple handles who seeks likes as if they were oxygen.

what FACTS have come out causing you to veritably condemn Donald Trump as President? FACTS, not insinuation and innuendo, or personal feelings.
Count the number of associates, appointees and staff that weren't f-up quacks, subtract the ones that haven't been convicted of crimes, subtract the ones requesting pardons, subtract the ones who haven't come out on the record discussing how dangerous & deranged Trump is and you have a tiny handful of people.

It is *kinda* important that a pres surround himself with good people and delegate rather than having a continuous turnstile of grifting sycophant nutjobs. Trump belly-flopped worse than expected on this one.

I give DJT credit for scaling-back on America's military/war presence and perpetuating war, or even creating new wars to send more troops to confiscate resources and "spread democracy." He deserves credit for that, on whatever level he was responsible for purposely keeping troops out of new and existing conflict. I was, frankly, shocked by that outcome.

In every other aspect of his administration, it was a trainwreck, or a trainwreck waiting to happen. He catered, as they all do, to the uber-wealthy and the ruling class. And, he exhibited his total lack-of-ability to actually be a president, or leader of ALL Americans. He was who he always was- a sociopath, narcissist, professional celebrity, who only knows how to run things like a mob boss. He wanted people to be loyal to HIM. Fvck the "USA." The USA is just an ornament, a vehicle through which to act-out his personal fantasy of being the King (dictator, ruler, monarch, whatever) and perpetuating his brand. And, he went so far as to try and incite a civil war and have American citizens attack their own capitol and government so he could stay in power. He's about as anti-American as a president can even hope to be. His goal is to advance his "brand", that's all.

That unmistakable sound we all heard this afternoon around 2 o'clock was Donald Trump's head exploding as former top White House attorney Pat Cipollone praised Mike Pence at today's hearing for thumbing his nose at his boss on January 6. Refusing to try to illegally overturn the results of the 2020 election "was a courageous act of defiance," Cipollone said, and he went on to say, "Pence deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom," which is likely the exact moment Trump lost it.

Those closest to Trump say he now goes around mumbling to himself, watching the Jan 6 hearings and asking "when will it all end?" True story.

if you don't defend this administration or the DNC, what makes his similar POV a 'blind partisan loyalty'?' Why would his partisan loyalty be blind if he sees what you see? Are you saying you too are blind? Seems you are more or less in agreement with him. If that's the case, isn't it possible that his partisan loyalty is based on what you would consider to be sound judgement similar to yours?

Has it ever even occurred to you that there are more than two possible perspectives?

So let's make a list of the 3 worst things Hitler did and 3 worst things Trump did. Then we can compare.
The three "worst" things?

Well, the things they did aren't universally good or bad, or right or wrong. The "things" they did could be considered good, depending on who you ask, and who they benefited. They also could be bad, depending on who suffered or those who are critical of what they did. I'd argue that Hitler actually had a lot of help and a lot of support with the "bad things" he did. Donny has always seemed like a solo act. He garnered support, no doubt. But, all he managed to do was stage an unsuccessful coup with a bunch of low IQ loyalists. Hitler had a gradual, successful coup and with his supporters, sycophants and with his popularity, managed to rule Germany.

However... They had very similar traits, which I already offered, and which Noir is referring to as your homework:
Aside from being a sociopath, narcissist and a mass cult leader (while being the leader of a world power), how are they similar?

Oh.. so Hitler could be compared to Tom Brady.. when Brady throws a TD pass it's good for his team but bad for the team he is playing.

Also a mass shooting is a good thing for those selling ammo but bad for those killed.

So Hitler taking out 5 Million Jews is just as bad as Trump questioning an election.

I dunno, is it? Just as bad? I don't think asking a question is "just as bad" as killing anyone. You're taking it personally, because your personal identity is attached to DJT. And, the assumption that all Trump ever did "wrong" is ask a question, is so dishonest. I wish that were true. Trump was a great president... to you. How could anyone be critical of such a great president? Well, obviously, not everyone sees it that way, apparently.

Hitler was one guy. I don't know if Hitler, personally, ever killed anyone! The Jews were "taken out" by tens of thousands of other people who were all completely on-board with the objective of the Holocaust that Hitler had sold them on. He had some help in the propaganda, too. But, they all thought it was a great idea. They believed that Jews were parasites on humanity and were subhuman. So, exterminating them was considered as almost necessary! It was great for the whole world, not just Europe. Hitler helped to propagate and sell the bullshit idea to a lot of people. That's how powerful he was. He and Trump are very similar- They both know/knew how to sell a bullshit story to a lot of ignorant, desperate people, and then benefit from it.

Are you aware the question I asked has not been answered? So far you have been a deer in headlights with no idea how to answer and Strum played dodgeball.
I answered you directly. You don't like the answer, I get it. Someone lied to you if you think that the only real answers are ones you agree with.

So to simplify the criminal justice system don't you think it would be easier if the punishment for every crime committed is just a $50 fine?

Can you not simply write, "Thank you, strum, for explaining to me what I couldn't figure out for myself"?!?! I'm serious, you stupid ingrate! Thank the man!

Why am I idiotic for acknowledging what is blatant? I’m sure @Heels Noir appreciates you attempting to rescue him though. He’s lying about wrestling moves, lifting weights with jocks and pretending to play football and because I have publicly identified his mental shortcomings, I’m the idiot?

But hey, you got some likes with that poast. You must have been holding your breath for a while now.

When you find yourself on the same side of any argument with Strum, you know you’re on the wrong side. He doesn’t possess enough common sense to come in out of the rain.

So by that logic, you must find democrats to be responsible for all the murders taking place in large metro areas. I mean, Biden isn’t killing anyone but his and the Dems’ policies are encouraging 10 and 14 year olds to brutally beat unsuspecting 73 year old men. But - sigh - again you’re still here railing against a guy who hasn’t been president for 18 months while you stay silent on the current leaders.

Since all of the Libs here are too modest to state the great accomplishment of our current administration I'll do it for you. CONGRATULATIONS ON A 40-YEAR RECORD HIGH INFLATION RATE OF 9.1%

GREAT JOB!

that's your opinion. I requested the facts. Who and what a president or any other leader surrounds himself with can only fairly be judged by the results...the FACTUAL results. Want to try again?

Keep in mind that Trump's presidency was unquestionably hogtied by partisan obstructionism. You can't lay that on who he may or may not have surrounded himself with.

Obstructionism on a level we’ve never seen. Mitch and the GOP really gave it to Obama. But then the Dems (and some republicans), not to be outdone, cranked it up a few notches for Trump. It’s the only Presidency of my lifetime where the opposing party had the media carrying their water for them.

did it occur to you that you said his perspective was a blind one while yours for some reason presumably is not? That's two perspectives that your post keys on. Not a math major I guess.

Biden touched stimulus spending, but let's not forget that:
-stimulus is only a part of the many factors impacting inflation that are beyond his control.
-lets not forget this era of stimulus began under Trump
-lets not forget that despite the shit-storm of domestic and global probs hitting at once the economy is on pretty good footing (partly due to the stimulus). Prices are coming down, jobs are great, dollar is strong, recession will be dodged.

You keep saying this as if the domestic and global probs aren’t Biden and the Dems’s fault. Get a clue.

My bad. You really did see the the field. Let’s go to the tape:

He hogtied himself by hiring criminals and grifters, and by actually believing his own shit, like 'I know more than the generals'.

And convictions aren't opinion.

Long list of former associates shitting all over trump is also not opinion.

His most important task - delegation and management were a failure.

and again, convictions, etc., as fact are immaterial. What he was hogtied by was democrat obstructionism. Saying that his most important task was delegation and management, and what you think of his success there, is just your opinion. Stop trying to sell your opinion as fact. Believe it or not, we see what you're doing. Sometimes I wonder if you realize that.
