Trying to prosecute and doxx a doctor who saved the life of a 10 year old girl who couldn’t receive a necessary abortion due to draconian abortion laws and then discredit them both is pretty effed in my book.
I know the two issues are separate. But it shows how no one can agree on anything reasonable. We are given to tribalism and extremes.

Yeah. The poor girl was raped by a 27 year old illegal immigrant (I’ve heard unsubstantiated claims it was the mother’s boyfriend - not sure), the filing doctor said he was 17 for some reason, and the immigration status of the girl’s mother (who seems to be attempting to sweep this under the rug) is also in question, so now the dems are backpedaling from this, too, because it opens up another can of worms.
Notwithstanding any of that, I pray for that poor little girl and hope she gets the help and counseling she likely will need. No one should have to go through that.

I was hoping for something more on Ohio's situation that caused the girl to have to travel to Indiana.
This is why I never get out the torch and the pitchfork until the more essential truth of the matter filters in.
Definitely politicized. The Indiana AG certainly tried to discredit the doctor in question or suggest he'd prosecute her for not properly reporting the abortion question, when it's clear she followed the standard procedure. A technicality not worthy of national news or trying to smear the doctor or the story of the 10 year old girl. Right wingers were straight up calling her a liar until the monster who raped her was arrested.
As you pointed out, the bigger issue is why this girl was forced to travel to another state to receive this procedure in the first place? I'm still doing some digging on that front- Ohio abortion law, exceptions, her situation, etc.
I wonder if you are being objective. The abortion was a chemical one and few people are going to want their AG raining shit down on a doctor who helped out a raped little ten y.o. girl so unintrusively, or for that matter a simply pregnant ten y.o. one. I think the problem is not reporting a 10 year being a rape victim. Not the actual abortion.
A ten year old child cannot give consent even to someone their own age. What they would do to the 10 year old boy is anybodies guess. I guess in a way they would both be victims.
