OOTB's Political Thread . ..

so do you think that Trumps plan to try to bring spending under control, which was derided here by one of the usuals, is a bad plan and a wasted effort (and I mean in concept, not in detail which I have no knowledge of) ? Or should we just go on biz as usual, adding and adding to the debt to fund every whim, until it just implodes?

I'm not baiting you at all, I'm trying to get you to carry your thought out more so I can see where you're coming from with it.

You think the guy who put the most debt on books in just 4 years is the guy who will curb spending? The guy who in 2015 ran on paying off the debt "it will be so easy".

His "plan" is to put another $8 trillion on the debt.

Seriously, do you live in the U.S.? You talk about like it's some foreign land on the other side of the world.

Already expecting to lose...

He's been acting like their internal poll have him losing PA bigly.

Going to New Mexico doesn't seem to make much sense. Unless if his campaign has decided nothing good comes from letting him talk in the battleground states.

That's dope the way the video does Trump's voice. They should do a remix. I was imagining the beat dropping in while Trump was going, "whether the women like it or not."

Nah. This⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

So going by todays poll of polls and giving states to candidates if they have at least a point lead (that’s a huge assumption I know as several are in margin of error) plus giving the weird “one” vote in neb to Harris;

Harris 252
Trump 251

The only states with no one leading by at least a point;

Nc with 16 votes
Pa with 19.

So in this scenario it’s Pa or bust for both. Currently trump has a half point lead there.

The polls haven't moved since the debate. What has changed in many of the polls is partisan modeling.

In 2016, the polls missed how many uneducated rubes were willing to leave their trailers.

In 2020, the polls missed how many educated people fed up with trump's idiotic nonsense.

In 2022, the polls missed how many women were disgusted by Roe.

In 2024, it looks like they are still underestimating what they missed in 2022.

If you can't predict who is going to vote, the polls are useless. Since Trump, there's been a major restructuring of voters, making the polls more useless than usual.

One more thing, Trump disclosed on Rogan that his campaign is paying $500k for each partisan poll. Why would they be spending all of this money if their internal polls looked great? They (trump/GOP) did the same thing in 2020 and 2022.

you talk about like an ignoramus who doesn't know enough to keep his uneducated blather to himself. But let's give you a chance. Run down his $8 trillion plan for us.

From the article: "In Pennsylvania, the biggest battleground in the Blue Wall, Republicans are encouraged because the partisan gap in ballots returned so far has narrowed significantly since 2020. Democrats hold only a 25-point advantage, compared to nearly 50 points four years ago."

Interesting development.

The GOP has spent millions to undo the damage trump did by campaigning on mail ballots being fraud.

This is why I'm not sure if you live in the U.S.

ha! Nice try. That's what they told Custer about going down into Medicine Tail Coulee.

Bottom line:

If the MAGA on here had as much money as Trump, they would be just like him. If Trump lived paycheck to paycheck he would be just like them. They both share common beliefs, the only difference is he has money and they don't, he don't give two shits about them, to him they are suckers and losers, good for sending him money and voting for him to keep him out of jail and nothing else. Years from now books will be written about the same kind of people you see posting here and why they did it.
lol, calm down dude. We need you here to remind us of how relatively sane we are. And for laughs.

dude, this is why you can't be taken seriously. I asked for a rundown of his plan. You gave me what amounts to some rough spitballing by a third party. They estimate anywhere between under 2 trillion to upwards of 15 trillion. Yes that pretty much nails it down in your midget brain, doesn't it? Here's where they get their data for the guesstimate...

"These estimates reflect the expected fiscal impact of policies on the candidates’ campaign websites and of policies that have been proposed through official campaign announcements, white papers, and social media posts. In many cases, we relied on speeches, discussions with campaign staff, and similar proposals in Presidents’ budgets and elsewhere to help clarify policy details."

I asked for a rundown of his plan and you gave me some fairly meaningless rectal extrapolation based on not much more than hearsay. It is not meant to be a reliable indicator of actual results.

All you do is find crap on the internet that you can flail around with, because you don't have the mental firepower to put a coherent argument together. Try again, junior.
