Let's make smallpox and polio great again!lol, rfk jr
Definitely a troll pick by Trump. I'm assuming all the people who said RFK wasn't coming out in support of Trump for a spot in Trump's administration will admit they were wrong.Let's make smallpox and polio great again!
is this what you mean?It appears a Trump victory has caused a few regulars to ring the bell.
A troll pick... for the director of HHS. America is going to be so great. I hope Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock get in there somehow. Idiocracy come to life.Definitely a troll pick by Trump. Yeah, Mayorkas did a bang up job in his roll and I'm pretty sure Becerra has the same law background as Kennedy.A troll pick... for the director of HHS. America is going to be so great. I hope Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock get in there somehow. Idiocracy come to life.
It's definitely dumb, but most of these picks don't really matter. Anything dumb they can do can either be fixed quickly or has no meaningful impact. The ones that bother me are the military and intelligence positions. Those are positions that can **** up the country for decades.A troll pick... for the director of HHS. He might claim he isn't anti-vaxx, but he walks and talks like someone anti-vaxx. This isn't media fabrication. And, just to be clear, I'm not referring to the general campaign talking point claims of things like he is anti-vaccine, etc. That's no different from claiming orange is a racist because he talked about very fine people who are white supremacists - a media fabrication.
I love the angle that RFK would attack big pharma and the food industrial complex. He is definitely an odd duck, but that doesn't make him wrong about the relationship between big pharma/big agriculture and our health and food. @blazers and I had a discussion about this awhile back where it had been pointed out that the pesticide levels in UK food were way too high, particularly compared to the rest of Europe which had resulted after their withdrawal from the EU who has different standards.

We can coast unless something extraordinary occurs like wars, pandemics, some systemic crash, then you learn if your leaders are good at governing or trolling. It's definitely dumb, but most of these picks don't really matter. **** up the country for decades is just liberal speak for runs like a top. America voted for it, overwhelmingly. It's definitely dumb, but most of these picks don't really matter. Trolling is fine. Just don't let trans people get me. When COVID-19 hit, Trump shit his pants. But, he could still troll. We can coast unless something extraordinary occurs like wars, pandemics, some systemic crash, then you learn if your leaders are good at governing or trolling.
Did Jenny McCarthy finally change her mind about vaccines and autism?@pooponduke sorry for more. Kennedy is kinda fascinating given his populist appeal and his "quirks", and the fact that he's winding up in administrative that "conservatives" voted for.
I was just googling for some sound-clips from Kennedy in case the above blurb is too short. Listen to him on Rogan. He truly believes autism is caused by vaccines, and he's wrong. There are problems with Big pharma in terms of profits, there are times when vaccines can be harmful (MORE REGULATION here would be a good thing), and to his point Big pharma shouldn't be doing the regulation, some neutral org should (but this means MORE gov). But they don't cause autism. They are more helpful than harmful.
While googling i was reminded that he STILL believes Lee Harvey Oswald was CIA and moreso believes there is good evidence the CIA murdered his father. Blames the military industrial complex for killing them both. He's looney.
thank you, I was going to post something similar after watching a Russel Brand video on the subject of how the left treats this particular subject and some other video on how they treat any other subject not aligned with whatever it is that they are aligned with.. Basically they both say that only the superficial is attacked while the core is ignored. I then watched a John Oliver loserific episode on youtube that bore this out exactly.Serious question. I've seen the trolling above about RFK in general and the implication he wants diseases such as polio to be allowed to again attack our populace. In these very same pages, I have talked about his oddities and weirdness factor with regard to the whole bear in Central Park thing. However, other than him not playing ball by supporting Biden and choosing to primary him, then go independent, what has he really done or said that makes you so dismissive of him?

How is this type of look at this stuff and the perspective of questioning what we are putting into our bodies not a good thing? Crazy or not.
One last thing, I recognize that he is persona non grata for the D's and anyone who supports them at this point, but RFK was one of the finalists for Obama's cabinet and almost got appointed as head of the FDA. Am I supposed to believe he just went bat shit after he didn't get appointed?
and here we go. Somebody made a profit so let's put them in the crosshairs. There is no problem with the profits. They are just as entitled to making a profit as is the the kid on the corner lemonade stand. And it isn't up to you how much profit they make, unless you use the marketplace to send your little message. There are problems with Big pharma in terms of profits, there are times when vaccines can be harmful (MORE REGULATION here would be a good thing), and to his point Big pharma shouldn't be doing the regulation, some neutral org should (but this means MORE gov). there is no need to ban pesticides. There is a need to use them judiciously, and that doesn't mean simply establishing regulations to be largely ignored.I'd love to ban pesticides, i'd love to ban ultraprocessed foods. It would be a healthier America - but those moves could drastically F up America's food chain at the same time. It needs to be done in a phased, smart manner. Good luck on that part, but he needs to stay away from proven vaccines.
you're an idiot. It wasn't Trump who shit his pants.Trolling is fine. Just don't let trans people get me. When COVID-19 hit, Trump shit his pants. But, he could still troll.
There's never any coasting when it comes to the military and intelligence. We can coast unless something extraordinary occurs like wars, pandemics, some systemic crash, then you learn if your leaders are good at governing or trolling.
Trolling is fine. Just don't let mentally ill people get me. When COVID-19 hit, Trump shit his pants. But, he could still troll.
crazy isn't it? They shove the trans in our faces non-stop and then complain that we focus on the trans.FIFY
Is that the reason you didn't vote for Trump? There's never any coasting when it comes to the military and intelligence.
I'm not complaining. I think it's hilarious.crazy isn't it? They shove the trans in our faces non-stop and then complain that we focus on the trans.
There are several reasons I didn't vote for him. Same for Harris. Is that the reason you didn't vote for Trump?
What are you referring to when you say **** it up for decades? There are several reasons I didn't vote for him. Same for Harris.
But self-regulation + massive profits is a prob.and here we go. Somebody made a profit so let's put them in the crosshairs. There is no problem with the profits. They are just as entitled to making a profit as is the the kid on the corner lemonade stand. And it isn't up to you how much profit they make, unless you use the marketplace to send your little message.
As you pointed out but fairly well dismissed, the problem, assuming there is one, is with the regulation. This is a good example of draining the swamp or at least attempting to do so. One of the recent videos I watched said that of the past number of top administrators of the FDA (IIRC), something like 12 out of 13 ended up with fat jobs with pharmas. I might not be remembering that exactly but I'm close enough to establish the validity of the point.

Drain it, but put someone sound of mind in charge, not a quack.and here we go. Somebody made a profit so let's put them in the crosshairs. There is no problem with the profits. Them's big time fighting words for a Leftist. There is no problem with the profits.
Tell it to RFKthere is no need to ban pesticides. There is a need to use them judiciously, and that doesn't mean simply establishing regulations to be largely ignored.
If you tried to suddenly ditch unprocessed food we'd likely have a financial shock, followed by something like a famine. But c'mon man, you're worried about disrupting the food chain that is making us unhealthy? Get a grip. With what we do with processing our massive food production, we might as well just eat gruel anyway. Maybe disrupting the food chain will return us to food with natural freshness and flavor...and health.
Okay... now, you gotta know that what you're saying is SO subjective! That's not an answer or solution. "Of sound mind?" There's certainly not a consensus on what that even is, let alone getting them to be in charge.Drain it, but put someone sound of mind in charge, not a quack.
Hark_The_Sound in two weeks:
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha . . . So much joy.
I noticed you didn't quote the whole thing and cut off the most important part.
You really don't know how military actions/inactions/policy and intelligence gathering/relationships can **** up stuff long term? For example, we do something to piss off our allies in the intelligence community and they stop sharing intelligence. You think you can just flip a switch and fix that? What are you referring to when you say **** it up for decades?
